Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, in case you haven't heard of the exciting and spectacular three-part musical webseries that has exploded teh Internets with rage. Includes Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion and Felicia Day in a hilarious and unexpected tale of hilarity and absolute crazy antics of a supervillain.
Joss writes an entry in Whedonesque, talking about the highly anticipated Dollhouse and reshooting of the first episode. He gives himself his own Q&A, and the Jossisms of wackiness ensues. On top of that, Joss and Eliza give a press tour of the sets used for the show, and there's also talk of doing webisodes as well.
First look at Caprica, the BSG prequel series.
It has been revealed that Jamie Bamber is going to be on Law & Order: UK playing a cop. It'll be exactly like its predecessors, except it'll be filmed and based in London. Seems like lawyer!Lee has made an impression, of course this isn't the first time he's been in projects where he's worn either a suit or uniform. It also appears that most BSG actors have gotten outside roles that are of justice roles or anything involving the law or politics. Interesting.
The second part of the Heroes webisode series "Going Postal" is up now.
An article highlights the faithful followers of cult TV, which talks about the dedication fans have to their favorite underrated or overlooked shows at such events like Comic Con and other conventions, including Supernatural, Battlestar Galactica, and Firefly. There's mention of Heroes as well as Lost, though this is mainly for those cult shows that are lesser known to the public or don't get the recognition they deserve. It makes sense, since the mainstream shows can get all the awards and Emmy's they want, but it's the love of a dedicated fanbase that makes it worthwhile.

Date: 2008-07-24 09:51 am (UTC)Joss has been on fire recently, with Dr. Horrible and with Dollhouse, and even reportedly working on a horror film, along with his writings for the BtVS S8 comics, there is nothing this man CAN'T do. I'm anxiously waiting for Dollhouse, because coming from both Joss and Eliza's brains what is not to love?
It does look amazing, I can't wait to see where they go with it and how it'll be tied with what we've seen in BSG. Which, by the way, how far along are you in the series?

Date: 2008-07-24 11:17 am (UTC)Oh, I thought you knew of the miniseries because you said you were getting S1 and the miniseries is including in the S1 boxset. Unless you didn't get the boxset that included it. Well, at least you've been enjoying BSG nonetheless, which is a good thing. But yeah, the miniseries will give you more info and setup of what you've already seen so far. Which you already like, and I'm happy to have converted another to the BSG universe! Bwahaha! XD
