I'm not much a participant in the April Fool's kind of gags, however there were some kind jokes yesterday, both from friends and fandom, that I found hilarious. It's on that day where I don't want to post anything in fear that others may think it's a prank, but I'll still venture online and see what other jokes are being played around and just laugh at. Good times.

Battlestar Galactica marathon in SciFi all this week in preparation for Friday's premiere. Although I already have like, all the episodes it's still awesome to watch the episodes when it airs on TV.

But this has me kind of wondering regarding S4. It's been said that characters are going to die. That this season, being the last, will have a high death toll. Now it's inevitable since they're finally reaching Earth, the Cylons on their tail, the mysteries and everything coming together and all that deaths are bound to happen before they reach their destination. However, with all this speculations about who or what Kara is or who the final Cylon is, this gets me to thinking about all the minor characters we all came to love over the years. Like Hotdog, Racetrack, Doc Cottle. What are their fates? As much as I'm preparing for this season it's hard because it's like, these characters we're so used to seeing in every episode, and now it's coming to an end. Anything can happen. Edward James Olmos has even stated that he wouldn't be surprised if NONE of them survived, because that's how bleak this universe is. I guess in all this waiting and I know this is going to be a kickass season, it's also going to be a dreadful one because it's the end and anything can happen. So who knows?

In any case, I can't wait for Friday because it's been what it seems like forever since I've done a proper episode review, which I love doing. I'm sure anyone who's been keeping up with my show review posts know this by now.

I'm pointedly ignoring the death concept right now, because I'm a little afraid that at some point they're going to start going for shock value and a high body count rather than anything meaningful. I've gotten so attached to most of these characters, and the idea of so many of them being killed off scares me!

However, OMGTWODAYS. I am so excited I can't even describe it!

Totally. I know why it has to happen, but it's like I adore these characters so much that having certain ones die, either very minor or supporting, will just be devastating certain characters not so much, like Cally. But hey, that's BSG for you. Laura Roslin, get out your whiteboard because the population will go down very quickly. :(

noooooo! no one can die. cept maybe..i wouldn't be sad if cally died too much, i used to like her, but not so much recently.

I think they'll win more votes with giving characters we love a good storyline, if they kill Helo i am NOT watching. anymore.

Ever since Cally shot Boomer, and threatened to do it again with no remorse back on New Caprica, I've just disliked her. Can't wait to see her reaction when Chief reveals that he's a Cylon. *is evil*

Yeah, Helo they cannot touch. At all. If they do, I guess I'll have to keep watching to see if Sharon will be out for blood. Because angry!Sharon is the BEST. Srsly.

Helo is one of those characters that everyone seems to like, they can kill off some of the others, but they have to leave helo alone. I think it would be really dumb to kill any of the adamas, tigh (although it was dumb making him a cylon anyway) or Kara. it just ruins things.

It is going to be so difficult to not click your episode review on Friday night. I'm going to try to finish the second season tomorrow night. I'm in the middle of Downloaded and literally squeed when I saw Caprica Six's inner Gaius. I should be caught up by the end of the month though and I can't wait to discuss what's going on with you.

"Downloaded" is my FAVORITE S2 episode, because it focuses on the Cylons more. And, of course, Caprica-Six with her head!Gaius, which was a nice twist. I also loved her and Boomer's connection in that episode.

Hopefully you'll finish soon so we can squee together. I seriously can't wait! :D

I just finished the episode. Oh God, Caprica-Six and her inner Gaius! XD Yeah, I really loved their connection too. But my God, I felt so bad for Doc Cottle when he had to lie to Sharon and Helo. ;___;

I'm watching the two part season finale. I have plans to start watching the third season this weekend.

You could tell that Cottle was immediately regretting his action for lying to them, and Sharon's reaction was just heartbreaking. :(

Perhaps you can have a marathon this weekend, so you can get caught up in time to catchup on the S4 premiere! :D

Doc Cottle is just so awesome. If he dies, I will be very, very sad.

I have qutie a few things to do this weekend, like preparing for finals, but I will definitely watch episodes when I need breaks.
