My Comments: Pretty Little Liars was a complicated mess of a show, but it's my favorite complicated mess of a show that I still have a soft spot for, despite it's many flaws and issues. One of the high points of the show that many agree upon, at least from the earlier seasons, was how well the show did suspense and mystery that kept you guessing and be on the edge of your seat. These three fanvids that I'm sharing truly demonstrate the highlights of what made the show so addictive. The first was actually the very first fanvid of Pretty Little Liars I ever watched and was impressed by, although short the editing is great to match the excellent song choice ("Counting Bodies Like Sheep To the Rhythm of War Drums" by A Perfect Circle). The second fanvid is mostly centered around the fourth season premiere with some of the previous seasons added in, featuring the song "The Devil Within" by Digital Daggers which was also featured in the episode, and it's a perfect song to kind of center around the concept of "A", the anonymous stalker(s) of the girls. The last fanvid is a general one featuring some suspenseful moments throughout all the seasons of the show, set to the amazing remix of "Monster" by Meg & Dia. The editing in that one is also fantastic, as well.
I was trying to think about what Halloween or horror-themed fandom/fanvid I could share the Friday before Halloween next week, because I know I've watched a lot of those, my mind just continued to go back to Pretty Little Liars. That and this Asian horror fanvid that is a montage of a variety of Asian horror films, also set to A Perfect Circle's "Counting Bodies" song.
