++ Recently a special video was released for the second anniversary of the Heaven Official's Blessing donghua, animated art that highlights moments from the first season and at the end we get the briefest snippets of the upcoming second season! We also got a a small preview of the music that will be used. Of course, whenever season two will premiere is still in the air, as with most things that are of danmei adaptions. Still, them releasing these things has me somewhat hopeful. I am willing to be patient, and I know we have the continued releases of the English translated volumes of the novels to look forward to in the meantime.
++ Honestly, Heidi Klum dressing up as a realistic worm for Halloween, face painted to blend into the costume itself, lying down and rolling around on the ground while being interviewed no less, is such an iconic move. She was really giving off God Emperor of Dune vibes and I am here for it. (Note: If you're squeamish or too easily squirked, don't look up any pictures.) She never disappoints whenever it comes to Halloween, she always goes above and beyond and is incredibly dedicated, you gotta respect and admire that level of commitment to these highly elaborate costumes that aren't always pretty or glamorous. I mean, if I had the money I would absolutely do the same. What is Halloween if not the holiday where it is socially acceptable to dress up as wild and weird as you want to, be it spooky, sexy, simple, or as grotesque and unsettling as possible?
++ Well. It seems that Twitter is imploding. I have never once used Twitter so it doesn't really affect me, but watching the whole thing from the sidelines is just equal parts fascinating, hilarious, sad, and horrifying.
