I think I have a new favorite film. I just finished watching Sympathy for Lady Vengeance and I am just...blown away. I simply loved it, from the acting of the perfect casting choices, the musical score, the cinematography, the message and direction, it's so beautiful I've just fallen in love. This is unlike most revenge films, but not surprising for a Chan-wook Park production, obviously. Especially for anyone familiar with his other works, even if this one takes on a different style it is still Park, through-and-through, and I loved it very much.

I'll write a proper review of it a little later, but it's such a gorgeous film that I had to comment about it. I am enthralled.
