Are you...alive?
Jul. 18th, 2007 06:32 pmStill feeling a little unwell, but despite that things are going good as I'm gradually recovering.
This Friday I will be attending the midnight madness for the release of Deathly Hallows. However I will not be staying there until midnight like most, and have no intentions of buying the book much less wait in line with the swamps of individuals. So why am I going, you ask? Simply put that this is the last midnight release for any particular popular book, and I've been to the previous one so I know the kinds of entertainment there'll be. Also, people I know will be there so it'll be a chance to hang out with them and such. It'll be an interesting evening, let me tell you now.
In a depressing news, Ayumi Hamasaki and long-term boyfriend of 7 years, Tomoya Nagase, have broken up even after announcing they were planning to wed by the end of this year. It's really sad to find out when long relationships break off, though in Ayumi's words she says that they're more like brother and sister now than lovers, and plan on still keeping in touch. So it's good that they've come to the agreement to still remain friends, and I wish them both the best with their lives. Other unfortunate news is that Mandy Patinkin has really left Criminal Minds. I knew that work had gotten too overwhelming for him during last season's filming, I just never expected he wouldn't show up at all. I would've imagined they'd cut down his filming time and not have him in as many episodes, though now it seems this departure is for real. It's going to be really strange not having Gideon on the show, and hopefully some answers will be given for all this.
But on an uplifting note, it seems that there's a second X-Files movie in the works, with both David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson to reprise their roles. So, yay.
