I voted. Relieved and proud is what I am feeling right now. Because, dude, I voted -- first time voter.
Surprisingly there was no line, and barely any crowds or people where I voted at. All I had to do was walk in, do the deed, and walk out with a nifty little sticker that says "I Voted!" on it. Phew...at least that's done and over with.
But the anticipation isn't over yet, 'cause that was just the beginning. I am impatiently waiting for the results of the new (or renewed) president, and I am also avoiding the news reports and Internet poll results because they do vary and which one is correctly accurate, I do not know. All I know is that I am not turning on the news if they are updating on the colored states telling us which ones are red, white, or blue. It will only drive me, and other people I'm sure, insane.
Must go occupy myself now. Reading fics, writing fics, whatever. Just no more politics until all the results are tallied up and it is publicly announced who the leader of this country will be for the next four years.
