It's hard to believe it'll be April soon, which means we've gone through nearly three months into the new year. Unbelievable. But then again, as a college student time seems to fly by quick since I'm preoccupied with loads of schoolwork (which can go both ways, speed up or slow down depending on the levels of stress). Strange how things work. Anyway, I'd like to announce that it's that time of year again where E!Online has the Save One Show voting survey where avid television watchers can choose their favorite shows to save from an "uncertain" future.
-♠- Buffy Returns, In Comic-Form: Joss Whedon talks briefly about the eighth season of BtVS from the published comic book versions, which is a continuation from where the series left off, exploring the aftermath of what happened in the television series finale. In case any Buffyverse addict has been living underneath a rock, you can order your own copy of the first issue now.
-♠- Slayer Turned Detective: It seems that Eliza Dushku is getting around with films lately, as her latest is The Alphabet Killer, a psychological thriller where she plays a detective working on a case of a serial killer, based around a true story of real events. The full synopsis of the storyline along with a teaser-trailer is available on the official website, and it looks pretty interesting and definitely something up my alley of films to watch. It is still currently in post-production and is scheduled to hopefully be released theatrically by this October. Eliza will also be in several upcoming productions this year, including Open Graves, Nobel Son, Sex and Breakfast and possibly in a new series called Nurses.
-♠- I'm The Cylon Messiah: Reminding all BSG watchers that tonight is the season finale. Yes it's that time already, but I have a feeling this is going to be good.

Thank you for that link! I'm probably the only person I know of who did this, but I actually voted for my 'Gilmore Girls', though it was a tough choice. I never want any of my shows to end.
And the 'Buffy' comic keeps slowly weaving its way into the "I want that" corner of my heart. I might just break down and become a comic freak due to this one beloved series alone.

Date: 2007-04-03 04:44 am (UTC)I'm right there with you about not wanting any of my shows to end, and it was definitely a tough call for me. VMars is pretty much on the verge of either being cancelled or getting a new FBI series, and it depends on ratings basically. Supernatural will definitely get renewed without a doubt, there's too many fangirls out there who are probably hacking into different computers just to place in as many votes as possible snd will be UBER pissed if it doesn't get renewed. So, I personally choose Medium because while it doesn't have a huge fanbase it's been running for three seasons and I would like it to continue, because it's a great show.

Date: 2007-04-06 06:30 am (UTC)I was upset when I learned that it was still in trouble, because I had thought we had a confirmation from someone that it would continue, in one way or another. But my memory's so bad, I don't know where I might have heard that. I wish it was a show that was going to keep going for sure.
Had to laugh at your description of the 'Supernatural' fangirls. It's probably true, too! :P
