It's hitting mid-November, and already I'm seeing a mixture of Christmas and New Years commercials and decorations in stores when it hasn't been Thanksgiving yet! I would've at least expected them to do this after Thanksgiving Day. Though I'm not complaining, because seeing and hearing anything Christmas-related feels me with joyful glee, I just continue to think that each year it seems the sales start getting earlier and earlier; gotta please those obsessive consumer people wanting the newest of the new on the very first day. Also getting Christmas shopping done early beats having to do last-minute searching, with all those crazies out there fighting over the last item on the shelf.

Regarding fandom, this casting spoiler for upcoming Heroes episodes has me very pleased. I'm truly excited about this. I'm also highly anticipating next Monday's episode. Like, nail-biting in wait kind of anticipation. Seriously.

Speaking of news that's exploding in fandom, it seems that in the Harry Potter fandom has been limited to only a 10-second preview of the teaser trailer for the fifth film, Order of the Phoenix. Why is this? Because the WB peoples are moronic for not releasing it when it officially hit theaters yesterday (teaser trailer showing before Happy Feet). It's ridiculous that they haven't yet, since there'a already a recorded bootleg on YouTube already and I wonder how long it'll be up before it's taken down. Heh.

I suppose I should go search the trailer out on YouTube while I can. My sister's best friend works at the theatre in town showing Happy Feet, and guess what trailer they AREN'T playing before the movie? Apparently for time reasons, but still, my sister and I had planned to see Happy Feet for the soul reason that the trailer was supposed to be there.

Also, regarding the Christmas stuff everywhere? The admin area attatched to the Cafeteria at my university had a Christmas tree visable through the windows that had posters up for the Hallowe'en party at the campus pub about a month ago now, and there's lights in all the trees on campus as of this past week... it's a little ridiculous.

Yeah, I've been hearing from quite a few people that they went to see Happy Feet and were disappointed that the OotP trailer didn't show even when it was advertised to be.

Aww, I wish my college were that creative in placing Christmas lights around all the trees on campus. Of course, that would mean lighting up the entire place because we have, like, GAZILLIONS of trees everywhere around campus. I don't even think our college would even place a Christmas tree anywhere on the grounds, but it's a nifty thing if they did. I like anything of Christmas decorations; I like looking at the gorgeous shiny and pretty things.

Oh, there's TONS of Trees at Malaspina, too. It's crazy, walking down after Publishing on Thursday (Hadn't noticed on the way up because it was 2 and light out) at 5:30 was rather amusing. And you would be so amused by my campus starting... next Friday I believe, we're host to the Festival of Trees... which usually equates half the tables being taken out of the cafeteria in favour of pretty pretty Christmas Trees. And I'm the same way with the decorations :)

I think the Christmas things are adorable, as well. I guess it's a little strange because it doesn't feel at all like that time of year yet (partially due to slow climate changes over here). But still, earlier as it becomes it doesn't take long for me to feel that familiar Christmasy spirit!

Hee! I just want him to say "fantastic!" just once when he appears on Heroes. That would be quite awesome. *g*
