++ Doom Patrol has been renewed for a third season by HBOMax. I'm so happy and relieved, because in these times there's a lot of uncertainty when it comes to the possibility of returning shows.

++ It's been announced that there will be a limited tie-in comic for The Expanse, mostly centering around Chrisjen Avasarala and Bobbie Draper, which will bridge the gap between season four and the upcoming fifth season of what their characters are up to until upon meeting them in the new season. Obviously this isn't mandatory in order to watch season five, but nevertheless it's just something interesting and fun, and it's nice having new content.

++ We have official promotional images along with some new information from The Mandalorian's second season, which will premiere October 30th.

I'm still remaining cautiously optimistic about the new season, since it appears that even with still eight episodes it's said to be heading into a larger plot which is something I've been worried about, but there's been promise that each episode will still be isolated and very much still about the bond between our Mandalorian and the child, so we'll see how it goes. And yeah, I've also read the recent controversy surrounding a particular actor and what's been exposed of them lately on Twitter, and while disappointing it's not like I was that invested with them anyway, so hopefully it doesn't distract me from enjoying the new season.

The books are so amazing, I can't wait to read the final one in the series, and i cannot WAIT for the next season! :D

The final book is supposed to be released later this year, right? It makes me absolutely ecstatic that this is going to be a book series that'll be finished, and that, hopefully, the show will continue long enough to adapt all of it.

It surely will! I know a lot of people take issue with Amazon/Bezos, but the reason the show was saved was because he's a massive fan and was convinced from the passion of the fan campaign so, y'know, I'm hoping that the show does continue on long enough to reach that point of adapting the books. It would be absolutely amazing. Since it's very rare whenever a book series, especially a long one, gets adapted from beginning to end.

Now all we need is for HBO Max to renew Infinity Train for a fourth season! If there was one single series you could binge right now before any other to get its ratings up for a renewal, it's Infinity Train. Each of the three seasons is only two hours long in total (each is 10 twelve-minute episodes), shorter than the shortest Marvel movie, as the showrunner put it. It's a really great series, and I can't recommend it enough! Even my mother, who often has trouble connecting to shows and movies without real people's faces, agrees.

Interesting that the Boom! Expanse comic will be a tie-in to the show, when the recent Boom! Magicians comics were tie-ins to the books.

I hope The Mandalorian keeps up the quality that has its watchers so invested. The pictures certainly look intriguing. And it'll be great to see Ahsoka and Bo-Katan in live action! I'm most interested in seeing The Child eventually become someone in the galaxy in the future thanks to Din Djarin raising him so he can survive and grow up, whether it's a Jedi Knight or a Mandalorian bounty hunter. Having Yoda come back in his body would be a bad idea IMO, and I hope they don't go there.

Ahhh! An Expanse comic?! YASSSS! I think Chrisjen and Bobbie's relationship/interactions is the thing I missed the most last season. The cover of the first issue looks soooo cool :)

I missed them, too. I liked what little interaction we got, though, because it makes them coming together now even more amazing. Overall, I cannot wait for the new season. :D

Oo really interesting that they made a tie-in comic. Bobbie and Chrisjen are such great characters, so I will probably check it out.
