I literally cannot right now, I'm just speechless. Last year I was practically thrumming with excitement for Desolation of Smaug, but this year I'm feeling both excitement (to see all the epic new stuff) and incredible dread (knowing what happens). The Battle of the Five Armies is not just the last Hobbit film, it's basically the end of an era. So, in other words, I am not even remotely emotionally prepared to survive any of this.

And it premieres next month (December 17th), which is both too soon and too far away. I want to remain in denial just a little while longer, please!

Okay, then. So I see Middle Earth is going to be my top fandom obsession for a good long while yet. I can't wait for this movie. Pretty much literally can't wait. Why can't it be now?

I'm definitely going to the midnight premiere here, there's no doubt about that. I'm just concerned about my sanity. If not for the waiting, it'll be when I start breaking down into sobbing fits in the middle of the theater. There will be tons of tissues that will be brought and used, for sure.

But yeah, I want this movie and yet I don't want it at the same time. My heart hurts just thinking about it. D:

There's just too much information in this trailer to properly process. I am still lingering on everything Thorin and THAT FOREHEAD TOUCHING and DURIN FAMILY FEELS and BILBO WITH THORIN and just, gah! My heart cannot take it! I am going to be a blubbering mess in the theater, just you wait.

For me it's probably gonna be the pratical question of, do I find someone who owns a car to go with me, and do I want to share my undoubdted strong feelings with this person? /social anxiety mixed with "why don't I have a fucking driving lincence" lol
