Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome has officially come out online as a webseries, which later will be airing on Syfy and then released on DVD. But somehow I find myself feeling kind of indifferent to it at the moment.

I'll admit that this is mostly due to my still bitter feelings about Caprica being canceled (whyyyyy?? ;__;), and the network in general being incredibly flaky with their decisions about anything involving this universe ever since the series ended. But I will be buying the DVDs once they are available. I mean, it's BSG related, how can I not? Maybe once having it physically in my hands will spark interest and I will watch it and love it and want more, since I do love this universe and having anything extending it makes me happy. It just seems like the network doesn't have much interest with BSG anymore like it used to, which is rather disappointing.

I don't know how I feel about it either... I watched the trailer and I was like "okay..." Anyway, if you watch it and you like it... tell us! :3
:( It made me miss the show, though. I should rewatch.

I like the two episodes that have been released so far. The characterization feels authentic and it's good they have references to both BSG and Caprica.

I still need to sit down and watch the BSG sometime. Everyone had told me that I would love it.

Oh believe me, you definitely will. It's probably the most epic science fiction series I've ever seen, and I don't use that term lightly. :)

That's good to hear. It would have been a bummer if it didn't.

Yeah, it didn't really spark any interest when I first heard about it, then again it was fresh after the cancellation of Caprica, so bitter feelings and all of that. But I definitely don't want to knock it before seeing it because I'm sure it's quite good, if not decent enough storytelling of Husker in his earlier days. ;) So when I do watch it all the way through I will certainly let you know how it is.

I miss the show, too. :( I miss the days when there was speculation on who the Fifth Cylon was, what kind of shenanigans did Baltar get into this time, and OMG DID THAT JUST HAPPEN. Those were good times.
