Day 19 - Your favorite SPN song

Best use of a seasonal promotional advertisement for the show, ever. "O Death" became a quick favorite of mine and it's just perfect, fits the perfect atmosphere of the apocalyptic theme, particularly when it was used for Death's introduction scene. Just amazing and definitely my favorite overall. Second favorite would be "Carry On My Wayward Son" because, how can you listen to this song without associating it with the Winchesters? Just listen to the lyrics, it's totally the anthem of the Winchester story.

LA Con is almost here, and I'm all excited. Again, this will probably be my last one for a while, but I'm still excited because I get to see all these actors that I absolutely love and respect. I saw that Richard has been signed up for Saturday as well! Makes me happy because he's such a delight to see, such a sweetheart, and I want to be able to say WE WANT GABRIEL BACK! loud and clear because, it's true. ♥

I'm so jealous. A good friend of mine will be at the con too. I have tickets for the Vancouver one in August, which seems so far away.

I love O'Death. It is totally on my ipod right now. Wayward Son edges it out slightly for me only because I loved that song before SPN. It is kind of my theme song, the song that got me through some hard stuff.

One of the things I adore about Richard is how astounded he is learning how much we adore him and the character of Gabriel. Every single time, it's adorable. I'm definitely gonna let him know that we would love him to return, even if they have to make a spin-off to let that happen. ;D

That's precisely why I adored this rendition of "O Death", how utterly chilling and haunting the melody is as opposed to the original version's tune which was more bluegrass. I love both, but this was specifically done for the show and it's just perfect.

I kinda love that Wayward Son is the unofficial theme of the entire show, in a sense.

It's such a fantastic song that fits the mood perfectly. I remember when I saw that promo I was literally taken aback from how awesome it sounded. I watched that promo over and over again, and yes I downloaded the song once it became available. ^__^

Oh definitely. I love how it kind of meshed the darker atmosphere, even if the season didn't deliver this song surely made sure it drew people in. And it did, and Death is forever a BAMF. ♥
