++ Rest In Peace, Teddy Kennedy. We lost yet another great individual that accomplished so much in his lifetime, even with his personal struggles he achieved and influenced so much and no doubt his legacy will live on. Whether or not you agreed with his political views, there is no denying he will most certainly be missed. :(

++ There's a lot of WTF that happens in the news, today this caught my eye. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but it still boggles my mind that parents use their children as their own political conduits, showing the amounts of intolerance and hatred towards others. Just thank goodness the school authorities took proper action. School is a learning environment, not one's own political protesting venue. Tolerance and common sense, get you some. In semi-relation to this, you know those protesters against the health care reform, those who brought loaded guns near where Obama would be giving his speeches for the health care plan? Same goes for those folks who think they're exercising their second amendment rights, just because you can doesn't mean you should, especially when taking it in context of the situation and becoming an endangerment and a threat to everyone around them. It really makes me wonder what is going through these people's head when they thought they were defending their "rights", or in the former case the freedom of speech excuse.

Crazies, the world is full of them, and their lack of common sense and Earth logic as well. *shakes head*

I've only read partial spoilers for what's to come next season, not everything but just enough to get the idea of what the season is generally going to be about. And you know what? I'm excited. Just the fact that there will be a second season at all is a miracle in itself, and hopefully if FOX is true to their word and they leave the show alone and let Joss do his thing, it'll be much better than how S1 started which had a lot of folks skeptical and missing the entire point. Also, I am squeeing because of these slightly spoilerish promo pics. Makes me really wish for more with the BSG/Dollhouse loveorgy that Joss has going on.... *crosses fingers for Tricia or Trucco*

++ Finally watched the SPN S4 gag reel, lolarious as usual. Though barely enough Misha, I'm just saying. That man is like a walking crackpot of funny, you'd think they would have it extra long just for him. Oh well, perhaps there may be an extended version somewhere with Misha just being Misha, like always.

++ Oh, the wank surrounding the Stargate Universe fail is very amusing, though I'm halfway between laughing and facepalming at the show attempting to be ~*~edgy and cool~*~ to appeal to their so-called younger audiences. I'm not a fan of the other SG shows, I watched a few episodes sporadically but I never fully engaged into it, just wasn't my kind of show. But I'm predicting SGU will fall flat on its face, which wouldn't surprise me judging from wank this early into the game.

I was sad about the lack of Cas/Misha too. I mean the man is hilarious, there has to be some golden material. There was more Anna than him and that made me sad.

I know, it was sad and very unfair because I just remember him telling stories about things that happened on the set, and I was like "omg that better appear on the gag reel!" but alas, it didn't. Though seeing his adorable smile while in Castiel attire was worth it.

This makes me hope for more of him in the next gag reel. *crosses fingers*

Lol, I wonder if this father actually thought that wearing t shirts so hateful would encourage anyone to embrace Christianity or want to learn about it? Especially a Muslim! it's like saying "hey, I think your whole belief system is evil and wrong, you should convert to our side!!" Why do a few religious groups insist on talking on and on about the negatives without ever sharing the beautiful parts of their faith? Surely that would draw people to them more... And don't get me started on how the two religions share a common root...
Makes me sad that the poor girl is subjected to this sort of bias from such a young age, and I'm glad she wasn't punished/expelled for what her parents did!!

OMG I KNOW! I'm really looking forward to the new season. Not only because it's Joss Whedon but they'll be able to expand the universe and the mythology. Plus, plenty of guest stars in the mix of the already gorgeous and talented cast = epic win in my book. ;D

It was definitely more of the "my beliefs are better and far more superior than your beliefs!" method by spreading the hate. Of course, we expect these folks to have brains when all they do is go about things negatively instead of embracing the differences. Jesus taught the "love thy neighbor", so why can't these so-called religious zealots understand and spread that aspect instead of hurtful intolerance? What exactly is that teaching the younger generation?

I'm just hoping that, because the girl is still young, despite her upbringing and having those kinds of values instilled into her at that age, she'll come to understand the diversity and acceptance of all faiths and belief systems of the world and not live in ignorance. There is still hope for her, whereas the parents...not so much.

Yeah, I mean it does sound like a recycled concept only made of more massive fail. It just sounds like they're packing in too much to make it "different", only to still be lame.

Just a question: was Misha just a guest star this past season of SPN? From what I hear, he was just supposed to be a few episodes, but then he became such a fan favourite that he stuck around, amirite? If so, that might explain why so little. I remember from the Veronica Marsathon in '06 that they could only use stuff from the main cast or they'd have to pay guest stars some extra $$$ (which was why we had to keep quiet about Mr. Daniels having a line or something). So maybe that's what happens in gag reels.

More of a recurring character than guest-star. He was contracted for about six episodes originally, though yes because of how much praise and attention he'd gotten as the character they expanded his contract and gave him the status from recurring to regular for this upcoming season. Though I don't think that's how it works with gag reels (I don't think? Not an expert on the payment of actors in the television business, esp with the extra stuff like gag reels).

Besides which, Misha is too hilarious to not have made the bloopers. I don't think it would have mattered anyway, imo. Plus, it wouldn't have made sense since other guest-star actors had more blooper stuff that Misha did. So, idek.

The thing about SGU is that the more it tries to appeal to their so-called younger audience the less than appeal to their long-time audience. One of the great things about SGU is that it wasn't caught in the stuck-up, trying to have an "edgy" tone of most modern scifi and it had a great mix of serious and funny content. And it wasn't taking itself too seriously, which SGU totally sounds like it is.

Cool first pic! It has a really classic look, and a je ne sais quoi. It would be great to have more BSG actors. More dolls would be nice from time to time. We already know we'll be seeing more clients, of course.

Are you planning to watch V come November 3rd? I like what I've heard about it so far. That's another series BSG actors could get work in. I was thinking Trucco would be great as an equivalent to Brian from the original series.

I'm giving Stargate Universe the benefit of the doubt. It'll either pass or fail.

It would be sweet to see more Actives other than the main ones we already know, not that they aren't awesome but because it would give more expansion to the overall atmosphere and development and relationships within the Dollhouse. Like they introduced a few other Dolls in at least one or two episodes, it would be nice to see them again.

I definitely plan on watching V, ever since seeing the preview I'm kinda interested (of course having Morena and Alan in it helps).

The whole SGU doesn't do anything for me as neither of the other shows did. I'm just watching from a distance for the wank that'll ensue.

Which it'll either pass or fail horribly with how they're going about things. Honestly, I was never into SG1 or SGA, but I did find it entertaining sometimes if a bit campy with some storylines. But with this, yeah, I think taking them taking SGU too seriously has affected it to where it's become almost utterly ridiculous and mildly offensive. It will not go well.

Because he really does love Summer, and Summer has mentioned time and again she would love to work with Joss again. Even though TSCC didn't get renewed there's always an upside, and this is it! :DDD
