By now everyone's probably heard about the devastating news about Kim Manners passing away from lung cancer. I'm still in a shock, to be honest. He did a lot of amazing work in his career, and most recently his well-known place was amongst the family of Supernatural, directing some of the best episodes and was praised like whoa. It's quite unreal, I never knew there was anything medically wrong with him, and it's just so strange that one minute this is the guy that his creative mind worked behind the camera and he and the boys frequently traded back and forth pranking each other, and the next hearing the news that he's no longer with us. It's just so sad, and a terrible loss.

Onto more lighter things, I did finally see the extended Heroes Volume 4 promo and just, holy crap! Show, I was disappointed with you previously, but with that and where I think it's going with everyone ganging up together and generally being awesome? You may just be pulling me in again.

I am so not one for the Super Bowl, but the commercials are always fun, especially wheh they involve supah hawt mens with supahpowahs in uniform. *g*

How is it that recently my dreams have become less of the surrealism stuff and more about real life? When exactly did this come about and why? Almost every dream I've had in the past week have been about or relating to things occurring in my life, school or otherwise, and it's pissing me off. The reason why I like sleeping is to escape reality for the moment and focus on cracktastical shiznit my mind likes coming up with. Now it's all about things I'm already doing when I'm awake, and it really confuses the hell outta me because it's almost too real. What the frakking frak, subconscious? STOP MAKING ME HATE REALITY EVEN MORE AND START AGAIN WITH CRACKTASTICALLY INSANE SHIT! I NEEDS IT, DAMMIT!

All the more evidence saying that life has taken over, like whoa.

Heroes is evil because I'm liking the v4 promos as well. Seriously, wtf show? Stop screwing around with my heart.

I keep seeing real-life dreams too, sigh. I miss the cracky fandom dreams.

I know! I think it's because everyone is working together, like in groups, instead of a few here and there as they have been doing. ESPECIALLY WITH MOHINDER AND PETER GOING TO BE LIKE BFFS OR SOMETHING! OMG! But you're right, they keep playing with our hearts and just when you think there isn't much else, they draw you back in.

Yeah, and since I dream rather vividly it's kind of like, wtf brain? Stop having me be confused on what is real and what isn't, dammit!

Meh, Peter. But I sort of agree with the working together part, although there obviously needs to be some kind of conflict to keep things interesting. The Peter/Mohinder scenes on the video do seem alright, I just don't happen to like Peter these days. And I still prefer awkward loner Mo. So, we'll see. I suppose I'm hard to please when it comes to Heroes after v4 even though I really hope it will be good again. :)

I have the stupidest dreams like trying my best to get to somewhere in time and never getting there and it's so frustrating because I'm stressed already without them, haha. I hate it.

Hey, I've been wanting some Mohinder and Peter stuff ever since S1, because there was definite potential for friendship when they first met but nothing came of it. So I've very pleased to see that they are finally getting a chance to have screentime together. I do agree with missing awkward!Mo though (and with the curing of the icky scaly problem, shouldn't those powers he injected also be gone as well! IDEK what they're going with that...), but we'll be seeing him with other characters which is awesome. And I'm sure they'll be conflict down the road for these characters even with working together. Can't have a drama superpowered show without the drama. ;)

I think my pep after seeing these previews has given me hope that this show is redeeming itself where it should be, and most of it is what I've wanted to see since S1. The being hunted by the government, characters helping and working side-by-side, it just all comes together and I think after the wreck that was "Villains" we need that. Or at least I'm hoping for it. Can't get my hopes up these days, so we'll see when it comes back.

Ugh, I hate those too. Also having those "is today tomorrow already?" kinds of dreams because, srsly, I am beginning to get pissed off at my subconscious for stressing me out even further!
