And Jesus brought a casserole.
Dec. 25th, 2006 01:46 pmMerry Christmas! I wish everyone a joyful and happy Christmas Day, and a wonderful holiday season to those who celebrate other holidays of this month. ♥♥♥
The day has finally arrived, and everything has come full-circle since last year. After settling down on the last touches on Christmas presents to give I spent time with family, there were some quarrels between some but I managed to stay out of it (despite my raging curiosity). One night it apparantly was a Julie Andrews night, because I watched Marry Poppins and The Sound of Music. Of course, Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without watching the classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and A Charlie Brown Christmas. With that, I had a nice early evening dinner with family on Christmas Eve, came home and had the fireplace going (it was bitter cold last night, with the threatening of a rainstorm hitting our area either tonight or tomorrow), drank some Sparkling Cidar and stayed up to watch some other specials before retiring to bed.
This morning I did recieve lovely gifts from family, and vice versa. I'm entire squeeful over everything I'd gotten, including Namie Amuro's Space of Hip-Pop 2005 Tour DVD which I've been waiting for, like, ever to have! Also shiny seasonal Christmas cards, too. I'm just giddy all over. Did I mention that I absolutely and postively love this time of the year?
Now I have an urging desire to bake cupcakes. I don't know why, but something about Christmas always makes me want to bake something (which I probably should've done before the 25th, but heh).
