Fandomosity: SMG film news, Ghosts of Albion, Serenity, and Memeness

-♠- Curiouser and Curiouser: According to WHEDONesque's latest postage of film news, Sarah Michelle Gellar is going to be starring in "Alice", the video game adaptation. Personally, I am completely psyched about this. American McGee's Alice is a wonderful creepifying dark setting of originated fairytales; getting rid of the family-friendliness of it and adding more realism and spookiness into the Lewis Caroll tale of Alice in Wonderland. Some American McGee fans aren't pleased with this decision -- however, I am. And our SMG is definitely a damned good actress to be getting this part. Some past roles are kinda meh-looking (aside from The Grudge). So if this Alice thing is a go, which I hope it is, it'll add more credibility towards her career other than being ex-Buffy star. Yay!

-♠- Amber Benson: The book, Ghosts of Albion: Accursed is ready from pre-ordering at Amazon.com for those that are interested in buying it; story written by Amber Benson and Christopher Golden.

-♠- Since I Found Serenity: The Serenity book by Keith R.A. DeCandido now avaliable for pre-ordering on Amazon.com. As well as Finding Serenity: Anti-Heroes, Lost Shepherds and Space Hookers in Joss Whedon's Firefly -- which is now available for buying on Amazon, too. Has some good reviews, which is very shiny to hear.
