I'm just a traveller.

++ Since my previous post, now that Namie Amuro has officially retired from her career, I've been really feeling the heartache. I was obviously heartbroken since the announcement was made a year ago but I was still in some kind of denial, but once her final day arrived and I saw so many people dedicating their posts to her, wishing her well, posting videos in celebration of her career and everything, I just got so emotional. Like, in a sad but proud sort of way? It's hard to describe. And her final performance ever, which was in the 16th, was in her hometown of Okinawa, and seeing videos of that just got me really, really emotional, way more than I already was. Never mind seeing her emotional message to fans during her last tour just got to me. I just love her so much. ❤

++ There's a brand new trailer for Doctor Who, and it just keeps getting better and better. Now, just give me the new season please. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

++ Telltale Games Studios is officially shutting down, with any future games that were planned immediately being cancelled, including continuations of any ongoing game series, and many employees being abruptly laid off. I haven't played anything from Telltale, but I know many loved their games, most notably The Walking Dead, Tales from the Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us. Unfortunately, despite the massive popularity of some of their games and them hitting their stride recently, this tough decision was due to poor sales, which is quite shocking to be honest. I know that there's probably more behind the scenes issues than the initial statement suggests, but even though I didn't play the games I knew of them and how some were quite beloved so it's upsetting knowing that games will be unfinished or won't ever get their sequels.

++ It's been recently announced that there's going to be a live-action adaptation series of Avatar: The Last Airbender for Netflix, with the original creators behind the show and promising that the series will be casting culturally appropriate actors, no whitewashing of any kind. There's been varying opinions about this from the fandom, from excitement of finally being a faithful live-action adaptation to being apprehensive and skeptical, even outright not liking the idea at all. After reading many of these thoughts and opinions, I honestly see both sides. For some, I think the idea of a live-action A:TLA was appealing years ago, but after the catastrophe and insult that was the M. Night Shyamalan movie, many felt like a live-action is just unnecessary and if it's not done correctly it'll just reopen old wounds. I also think, considering the climate the entertainment industry is in now, many are just tired of remakes in general, especially live-action remakes when the animation itself is already perfect as is. However, on the other hand, it could be a fantastic opportunity for POC actors to play these characters appropriately and giving them more exposure, which is definitely the biggest upside to this news.

Now, I haven't seen Avatar: The Last Airbender (or Legend of Korra) but I certainly know of it from various people, and I most definitely remember when the whole movie nonsense was happening. I read [livejournal.com profile] racebending constantly and it was the beginning of the racefail discussions not just on LJ, but in various locations all across the Internet. It sparked a conversation that is still going today about whitewashing roles, cultural appropriation, having authentic casting, etc. I do think the original creators are going to do right by fixing what the M. Night version did wrong and creating the live-action version that they've been wanting, but I also understand the concerns fans have.

So, I'm curious as to what y'all's thoughts are on this. Do you think this live-action series is going to work? Are you worried about the outcome? Any personal casting ideas for the characters?

A Celebration of Namie Amuro

On September 16th, Namie Amuro, J-Pop singer and Japanese pop culture icon, will be officially retiring after 25 years. This announcement of her retirement was made last year, and she spent the remaining months releasing her final album and going on her last tour ever celebrating with fans the songs throughout her career. As a fan, I wanted to dedicate a post celebrating what Namie means to me.

Baby don't cry, always stay by your side.

Namie Amuro announced her retirement from music.

I'm happy for her and of course am fully supportive of her decision, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't deeply saddened by this announcement.

Namie's career has been long and fulfilling, as she first debuted in the early/mid 90s. However, I first discovered her during the early 00s, when I was just starting to get introduced to the whole world of Jpop and other international musical artists. After hearing and watching her music video for "The Speed Star" and her Queen of Hip-Pop album, I instantly fell in love. From her style, her voice, her dancing and the way she presented herself. I have been following her career ever since. Namie is basically my Queen, my Wife, my Bae, I love her so very much. So as a fan of hers for so long this news of her impending retirement has been a little hard to digest. But ultimately, this is her decision and as of this year she has celebrated not just her 40th birthday but also her 25th anniversary since her career debut, if this is what she wants and feels is right for her at this point in her life, then I support her completely. Besides, she's legendary among the Jpop community. She can literally do anything and people would bow down before her, as they should.

Also, she is planning one final album and a tour before all this happens. It's absolutely fitting that her final year be on a high celebratory note, and I plan on making the most of it. I just wish that she would end up touring somewhere in the US, because I would love to see her live in concert.

NAMIE AMURO = THE QUEEN OF FIERCE

THE QUEEN HAS RETURNED!

I will forever be in love with this woman, forever and ever. Not only is Namie coming out with a brand new album this month, but she's already released THREE MUSIC VIDEOS from said album within the passed week! The first being "The Meaning of Us", a lovely ballad, and then she surprised us with "FAST CAR", where she appears in a Marie Antoinette concept dressed in Lolita fashion and still rocking the fierceness. And now here, returning to the street/urban feel with "LOVE GAME" (no, not the Lady Gaga song, but damn wouldn't it be awesome she she did? Or better yet, did a collaboration with Lady Gaga? Hey, if Koda Kumi could do one with Fergie, why not a Namie/Gaga collab? OMG I THINK I JUST ABOUT GASMED FROM THE FIERCE BRB! *__*)

Needless to say, I am so picking up this album. NAMIE, FOREVER FIERCE! ♥

"We are all lost, but we are not gone."

++ UM, NAMIE AMURO TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM IN DECEMBER! ABOUT TIME BB GIRL! ABOUT TIME! BRB SHAKING AND CRYING. ♥

++ As many are aware, recent reports have announced that Dollhouse, after tonight's episode airs, will be benched from November sweeps and will not be returning until December. Already fans are calling the major bullshit on FOX being behind Dollhouse with their promises, and understandably so. However, I'm actually not that worried like many others are. It seems that this was a decision made at the last minute for business reasons and many other shows will be affected by this as well, not just Dollhouse. I still maintain belief that FOX will continue with their promise in airing the entirety of the season without premature cancellation. The only problem is their lacking in decent promotion for the show, that's my only gripe at the moment. There needs to be more advertisement, and I say we, the fans, should contact them and rally to promote THE HELL out of the show during sweeps.

It's also kinda sad that, despite the huge dedicated fanbase that Joss Whedon has, we have to resort to such deeds just to get our shows recognized and held up in the air against all odds. But hey, we've done the impossible before, and we're doing it again. And it makes us mighty.

++ Okay y'all, I finally saw the movie trailer for Legion and, I think I'm gonna love this film. Like, lots. ANGELS. APOCALYPSE. ADRIANNE PALICKI. WHEE! :D :D Already in love after just seeing the trailer, I've seen the posters and all but the trailer. Oh my God, it's awesome. It'll be awesome. So going to see that, for real now.

So...who really got the black diamond?

New collabortaion between DOUBLE and Namie Amuro, starring in "BLACK DIAMOND". This song is OMGHOT you guys! I've been listening to it nonstop. Namie is rocking it, in the black outfits and I love that she's still sporting those bangs from "NEW LOOK". Hee. and I totally want to learn that little dance. Though it really makes you wonder, who did win and get the black diamond in the end Namie did, like srsly, 'cause it's no contest.

If anyone wants the song I have it, because you have to admit it is quite addictive. Hee.

Phalanges! Phalanges! Dancing phalanges!

It's taking longer than expected, but I've been revising my review for the latest BSG episode as I'm rewatching and it should be up by tomorrow night. There's so much this season is offering, many questions and reveals that has me thinking and that I want to write about; theories, thoughts, wild speculations. Those will come in due time because honestly, this season of BSG is made of win and squee that ignoring to discuss it all would be a crime.

I'm also planning on writing about some important subjects and topics some time this month, so stay tuned for them.

Also, a surprise came to me the other day where I stumbled across some spoilerish pictures for the upcoming SPN finale featuring one of our favorite kickass black-eyed ladies. THINKY-THOUGHTS, PEOPLE! I know nothing of what's happening, but the gears are turning in this here mind of mine.

Okay, this totally is Namie's year because she's collaborating with DOUBLE for their new single "BLACK DIAMOND" (preview song/PV here). OMGHOLYSHIT ME WANTS NAO, MKAYS! Personal preference: I like DOUBLE's voice and I love any kind of collaboration with Namie like could there be a Kuu or BoA or SOULHEAD or even Mika Nakashima collab anytime soon in the future, plz, but Namie FUCKING OWNS this song. This is her year, with her 60s/70s/80s single and now this hot song. Holy fucking shit, my girl is on FIRE.

O HAI NAMIE, U SEXAY THANG!

The CD and the CD+DVD covers for Namie Amuro's new single "60s/70s/80s". First of all, isn't Namie SMOKING HOT?! Like, OMG! These are the sexiest covers she's ever done, and they're very tasteful and sophisicated too. Thirty and still working it, that's my girl. ♥

Can't wait to hear "What A Feelin'" and what the PV's going to be like.

NAMIE IS BACK BITCHES!

It's time to get away from the depressive state of things, and who better to do that than Amuro-san herself?

Queen Namie is our with her first new single of 2008, NEW LOOK /ROCK STEADY / What A Feelin'. This will feature a mixture of oldies with the typical Namie twist; "New Look" is an imitation of classic '60s-style of The Supreme's "Baby Love" song, while "Rock Steady" takes Aretha Franklin's song of the same name in a hot-sizzling '70s-style jam. I love both new songs, they both have an edge that is unlike Namie's ever done before, and the PVs are cute and bouncy and are very creative. And Namie looks stunningly gorgeous, as usual.

WATCH: NEW LOOK (Veoh) / NEW LOOK (YouTube)

WATCH: ROCK STEADY (Veoh) / ROCK STEADY (YouTube)

I am SO stealing her style, fo'sure. She's just so cute and gorgeous and fashionable and just so...LUSH. OMG.

Fandomosity: WGA, Dollhouse, Heroes, SPN, TSCC, SMG, Namie Amuro

This is the first Fandomsosity update of the new year, which is good because there's lots to report on.

-♠- Worth Fighting For: In most recent strike news, the DGA and the AMPTP have reached an agreement in contract deals which, in their written statement the studios are apparently wanting to bring back the WGA to talks for "informal discussions." Whether this is a true statement on their half is entirely up for debate; since neither of us behind our screens knows precisely what's happening behind those closed doors we can only pray that hopefully something productive is going to happen. Because right now the strike is currently at a standstill, both sides stubbornly holding their grounds and if this breaks the ice for furthering negotiations than I'm all for it.

-♠- Welcome To The Dollhouse: Eliza Dushku talks about Dollhouse. Not anything new, but she's staying optimistic about the show despite the strike and is currently physically preparing herself for her role. Honestly, I am really looking forward to it.

-♠- It's Like Staring Into Sun: Sendhil Ramamurthy has been announced to attend Eclipse. Yays!

-♠- Saving People, Hunting Things: First look at Supernatural's new graphic novel series, entitled Supernatural: Rising Son. The link provides an insightful look at what's to come in this new comic series, including new characters and familiar faces, and the connections between it and the show. To complete it off, the comic has a new artist. So if anyone was disappointed in Origins' artwork, you'll be in for a nice surprise with this just from the coverart alone.

-♠- Terminators Are A Go: It appears that The Sarah Connor Chronicles is getting praised, especially after its outstanding performance from the premiere -- making it the best and highest rated show on FOX since 2000, according to some sources. With only two episodes aired, and nothing left on television to watch, audiences are tuning in and with good reason. Let's hope that this streak continues, because nothing beats out having two lead female characters kicking ass and taking names.

-♠- Buffy Meets Alice: Sarah Michelle Gellar reaffirms her commitment to Alice. There were several misleadings on whether SMG was going to actually play the character of the film version of American McGee's Alice video game, you know all that rumor hoopla, but it apparently she's still committed. Though while she is certainly not how I envisioned Alice from this universe (I keep thinking someone a little younger, like Emily Browning or similar to), it seems that she's passionate about the role so I'm crossing my fingers she does well.

-♠- Queen of Hip-Pop: Namie Amuro will be sporting a new look/feel to her new album, including traveling back in time to the 60s/70s/80s while transforming the old soul songs beat/feel into a unique splash of Queen Namie flavor. Judging from the commerical previews, she's going all out and looking gorgeous than ever. Plus her Official Website has gotten a makeover to fit with her new album, and it's awesome.

Life, or something like it.

So, things have been quite hectic here lately. Okay, not exactly "hectic" like running around frantically, multitasking and driving myself and others around me insane like some are assuming. But I've been mostly preoccupied with many things. When it isn't fandom-related I've been busy trying to accomplish certain tasks and deeds that I've promised myself I would do before this year is over, and that includes major decision-making concerning job occupations and school opportunities. There are some life-altering decisions I'm making that could end up going one way or another, and I'm seriously at a crossroads with them. Oy, hello real life.

In the fandom world, I've realized there's too many fandoms to keep track of. So far the newest ones on my list are Bionic Woman, Pushing Daisies, Gossip Girl and Private Practice. But due to overlapping hours (and a somewhat preoccupied brain) the only show I've seen all episodes of so far is Bionic Woman. I'm behind on the others, although I must admit I'm not a spoilerphobic to those other shows; it's only Heroes that I greatly avoid spoilers for.

I've been kind of feeling underwhelmed most of the day, and slightly "in the dumps" shall we say. However, there are some new NAMIE AMURO pictures out that cheered me up! She hasn't had anything new out for some time, mainly because she's been on her tour which doesn't end until December I swear if she ever travels anywhere in the States or even close enough, I WILL get tickets to see her live even if I have to sell my soul to do so.

Gorgeous, stunning, and still the youthful Queen she's always been )

Otherwise, I'll be contemplating my theories for Heroes as I said I would. Because I know there's many people either confused or befuddled about what's happening thus far into the series, and I would like to add my thoughts into that speculation pile. That, and there's nothing better than wasting time talking about the show in general.

Oh, and for the record: I hate MegaUpload with a passion. Ugh.

Happy 30th, Queen Namie!

My girl, Namie Amuro, celebrated her 30th birthday yesterday and I'd like to pay tribute to that.

Namie has come such a long way through her life and career. Through the thick and thin, the hardships, trials and tribulations, she's managed to stay strong during those times and move onward. Now she's in a comfortable place in both her personal and professional life. Successful as she's become, she'll always be the Queen of Hip Pop no matter what, and she's not going anywhere. She'll continue to be an inspiration and strong woman, a mother and dedicated to her work, and most of all that adorable, sweet, down-to-earth person she's always has been.

Congratulations on all your success, Namie! I, along with your dedicated fanbase, love you!

Fandomosity: BSG, Serenity, Star Trek, Namie Amuro

-♠- So Say We All, Sir: Information regarding the mini-sodes to "Razor". According to sources, these will be two-to-three minute shorts which'll air during commercial breaks of Flash Gordon this October and will give extra information which will lead into the BSG TV-movie "Razor". Much like the "Resistance" webisodes leading into the occupation of New Caprica before the third season premiered. It's also been confirmed that "Razor" will be available on DVD this December along with S1 in HD. A perfect Christmas gift, I must say!

-♠- Can't Stop The Signal: It's nothing new that the collector's edition of Serenity will be available, however there's a chance that you can purchase the special re-release from Best Buy and get a free comic book along with it. Could be a good deal if someone doesn't already own the graphic novels yet, although I'd say it's worth it just to buy Serenity and relive it once again, special bonus features included. Also, I've seen the trailer for the collector's DVD air SciFi several times, and I have to say the Browncoat in me squeed just to see the 'verse on screen again.

-♠- Live Long & Prosper: Zachary Quinto and Leonard Nimoy on CelebWatch. This'll feature the two of them discussing the upcoming film, and will have Zachary show what he'll look like with Spock ears. Hee!

-♠- Wanna PLAY?: Namie Amuro made her first debut for her PLAY Tour 2007 this weekend in Chiba. She'll be traveling all around Japan at various locations, and the tour will continue on until Christmas. For further information, here are the tour dates and the locations she'll be visiting. Just looking at that schedule alone, I'd be surprised if she doesn't appear EXHAUSTED from it all.

Fandomosity: TSCC, Torchwood, Heroes, Namie Amuro

-♠- "Damn You, Joss Whedon!": There's an exclusive interview with Josh Friedman, the producer of The Sarah Connor Chronicles, as he gives an inside look at what's to be expected with this new series. On the third page, he gushes over casting Summer Glau for this particular role. Yes, there are indeed spoilers regarding the show itself, read the article at your own risk. But for those wanting to just read about Summer Glau, it's directed here and is luckily the first question asked.

-♠- From Sunnydale To Torchwood: In most recent news, it seems that James Marsters will be guest-starring on the BBC DW spinoff series Torchwood, which'll be airing sometime next year.

-♠- It's Time To Save Take Over The World!: The Heroes World Tour is an event where the cast and creators of the NBC hit-series Heroes will be traveling globally for the anticipation of the international premiere of its second season this fall, along with the release of the first season onto HD-DVD. As it's being noted, all cast members have been signed on and will be appearing on this international tour. For further information about these upcoming events, check out the official press release for more details. This is incredibly exciting news! As a fan myself I would kill, Sylar-style of course, to attend one of those. But alas, my schedule is unpredictable so there's no telling what might happen.

-♠- The Queen Has Arisen: From an Oricon poll asked which gender/age group is more likely to pick up Namie Amuro's newest album PLAY, the statistics showed that women in the twenties and thirties are more likely to pick up the album, and with men in the teens and forties. Why is the important? Because it shows proof that Namie is still holding strong way into her career without having to manuver or downplay her style to appease the polls and the audience; she has grown and matured over the years as has her music, and I think that's why people love her so much. I also have a feeling that PLAY will become highest ranked album of the summer.

Take me to Funky Town!

There seems to have been quite a dilemma regarding that latest Veronica Mars rumored news that's been circulating, on whether it's been cancelled or not, which has been concerning lots of fans. Several articles either mentioned that it either was cancelled, then it wasn't cancelled, and then another from Kristin from E!Online gave the slightly interesting concept that RT is considering making Veronica Mars into an FBI agent, set some years into the future. Some were still preplexed about this information, and wondering about the fate of the current place of the series.

Well, as of yesterday creator Rob Thomas sets things straight, speaking about him and the studio, the plans for continuing the series and presenting the offer for the FBI series possibility to the network. So, there you go.

Okay, forgive me but I have to squee here: NAMIE AMURO HAS A NEW PV OUT! My girl has done it again. It's from her upcoming single called "FUNKY TOWN", this is completely unrelated to the 1970s song of the same title, however the style certainly is reminscent to the era. The video has her dancing, standing in front of a projection (of herself on the screen behind her, working artistically well), closeup shots and finally Namie is surrounded by glittering golden disco balls and wearing a cute hat. It's really a beautiful and funky, mind the pun, and the song itself is addictive. Nobody can just listen to this song and not have the urge to dance along. Even Namie's official website has been revamped in celebration of the single/PV release, with a unique transition of backgrounds with the disco balls! Woo, make way for Queen Namie, y'all! I've placed the PV here, in case anyone wants to preview it.

Come on everybody, I'll take you to FUNKY TOWN! )

Oh, and Happy St. Patrick's Day everybody!

Fandomosity: Jewel Staite (SGA, Tribe), VMars, JMusic (Namie, Kuu)

February 25th, another edition of Fandomosity news. It's hard to believe that it's almost March already. Anyway, also a reminder that the new NBC drama The Black Donnellys will be premiering tomorrow after Heroes. So keep an eye out for that, it looks to be amazing according to many who have already previewed it.

-♠- Kaylee Travels Through The Stargate: You heard it right, Jewel Staite returns as a reoccurring character for 8-episodes of Stargate Atlantis. Her first appearance on the show she played a Wraith girl, completely unrecognizable unless you heard her voice. This time she's playing a completely different character.

-♠- Horror Island Massacre: In other Jewel Staite news, the official trailer for her upcoming horror flick, The Tribe, is now available. She just can't escape those cannibalistic Reavers, can she?

-♠- Lamb For The Win!: Michael Muhney talks about his thoughts of the latest VMars episode and other things, an yes, following the link there are BIG SPOILERS unless you haven't seen the "Mars, Bars" yet. You have been warned. For those who have seen it, come inside while I share the spoilerific thoughts ) Michael Muhney is made of awesome, especially after being named an honorary Browncoat and admitting to wanting to become a Cylon. Hee.

-♠- Queen Namie Sparkles & Shines: At first it was rumored but now it's confirmed, Namie Amuro will be featured with an "m-flo loves Namie Amuro" song on m-flo's new album, COSMICOLOR, as reported here. Other artists featured on their album will be Koda Kumi, Bonnie Pink, and melody. Also, Namie's BEST Tour ~Live Style 2006~ DVD is already out, which I'll probably soon purchase in the near future.

-♠- For The Love of Kuu: In a recent commercial, Koda Kumi is talking about her new single "BUT", which will be released on the same date as her new album, BEST: ~Bounce & Lovers~ (which isn't really a "new" album really, it's just the best of her ballads and only has a few new songs; but that's AVEX TRAX for you). It's also the promotional song for the film Step Up. You can hear the entire song with this YouTube preview; I really love this song, it's powerful, upbeat and danceable. Probably going to be the best new song of hers so far this year.

Fandomosity: Jossverse (Actors, Firefly), Heroes, Namie Amuro

Happy New Year's Eve! The end of the year has finally arrived, also indicating that this is the last Fandomosity edition before the new year begins. It's been an interesting year overall, both in worldwide news and fandom news combined. One of the biggest worldwide news is Saddam Hussein's execution by hanging recently for his crimes against humanity; I have my own personal opinions on the subject, but I shall refrain from saying them in this edition. That'll be saved for another time. I just hope that justice was served to the victims of his heinous crimes.

-♠- Gotta Have Faith, Dude: Although it's one day behind, yesterday (December 30th) was Eliza Dushku's 26th birthday! Wishing the loveliest and most kickass vampire slayer the best on her special day. Also, while poking around her filmography profile, it looks as though Eliza is getting some interesting projects lined up for 2007. She's also going to be starring in The Alphabet Killer but it's not located on IMDB, even though supposedly she's playing the lead.

-♠- Tightpants and Starbuck At Your Service, Sir: Thrillers starring two most fabulous SciFi captains together? What could be more perfect than that? White Noise: The Light is a supernatural thriller starring Nathan Fillion and Katee Sackhoff; it's been pushed back for a March release date because of clashed schedules. Also, this is perhaps a good thing because Battlestar Galactica will be returning in January along with Nathan Fillion's new FOX series Drive. So, 2007 could become a great year for both these amazing actors, television-wise and in the theaters.

-♠- Tara McClay, The Arc Warrior: Well, not technically. Going along the stream of Jossverse actors in upcoming projects, Amber Benson is going to be making her SciFi Channel debut in her new movie Gryphon. Judging from the picture it sort of resembles a Joan of Arc storytelling, although with these kinds of movies there's no telling which direction they could go in. It premieres the 27th of January on the SciFi Channel.

-♠- Can't Take The Sky: Firefly: The Official Companion, Volume Two is now available for pre-ordering off of Amazon, and will be officially released on May 8th, 2007. Also, Dark Horse Comics is releasing "Serenity In Disguise" ornament, a classic scene from Serenity.

-♠- To Gay Or Not To Gay, That Is The Question: In an interesting case of TVGuide Expert Columns, someone wrote to Matt Roush, asking "If we are outraged when a character with ambiguous sexuality is "inned," then why is it heroic or not insulting when an unambiguously straight character is suddenly "outed"?" This is in response in the decision of de-gaying the character of Zach from Heroes, since many people were confused whether he was heterosexual or homosexual. This also bring up an interesting topic discussion about how it effects the audience when characters are either "outted" or "inned" within a fandom, because there was major controversy and debating in the Heroes fandom. I still stand by my original opinion that Zach was questioning his own sexuality, and he started liking Claire as it's evident in the pilot episode. Determining his sexuality wasn't the high point of the series, anyway. But still, an nice response by Matt Roush on the subject matter.

-♠- Queen of Hip-Pop: It appears that my favorite musical artist, Namie Amuro, will be releasing her brand new single on the 27th of January! It's called "Baby Don't Cry" and has been announced it'll be used as the theme song for the drama series Himitsu no Hanazono (translation: "Secret Flower Garden"). Watch the CM promo for the J-Drama, using a small snippet of Namie's new song! ♥ ♥ ♥

Shiny Happenings

This is probably completely yesterday's news or whatever, but with the first amount of Order of the Phoenix promotional images that have spontaneously emerged have caught my eye. Particularly the Sci-Fi resembling picture of Dumbledore's Army looking all badass. Really, all the officially released pictures look fantastic. Of course there's going to be people out there that'll nitpick over every little detail they find canonically wrong, but I'm liking what I'm seeing. Hopefully in the next coming of months there will be more promotional pictures leaked from Warner Bros.

There's also the preparation of the third season premiere of Veronica Mars next week, although some folks out there have already seen the premiere episode this passed week through some reliable Internet downloadable source (which I believe was obtained legally through Rob Thomas or CW). But I'm going to wait patiently until it airs officially.

Still loving Heroes, which is my recent fandom obsession.

It's Meme to the Max: The Friday Five )

Thank goodness it's Friday, so I can sleep in this weekend. College is great and all, but sometimes the pressures of all the work really tire a gal out, you know?

Firstly, I have to say Happy 29th Birthday to Namie Amuro! Technically it was yesterday (the time change difference), but nevertheless I'm wishing her the very best and happiness of this special occasion. There's also other fantastic news, it's been reported from several sources that Namie is considering touring overseas sometime next year, this includes Europe and the United States! Being a fan, this is incredibly exciting since I've been wanting to see her in concert, and now I'll finally get a chance to! So yays!
