I'm actually looking forward to the second half of the season, believe it or not, if only because we're finally getting to the juicy stuff involving the angel civil war and possibly more information about purgatory. From this description there's an angel hitman, possibly targeting Castiel, or Balthazar, or both depending, and no doubt probably sent by Raphael. This also makes me wonder about what "personal move" Raphael plans on using against Castiel at some point down the line. Is it with this hitman? Or something else entirely?

Also, alternate universe? I wonder what that's about. Could this be referring to the meta episode? From the minor description of "cross into an AU" it would seem most plausible, and if that's the case could this possibly be a twist for a proper explanation of how and what and why a la "Changing Channels"?

SO MANY POSSIBLE IDEAS AND THOUGHTS AND CONCEPTS RUNNING IN MY HEAD RIGHT NOW, OMG. IT COULD BE THE META EPISODE, FILLED WITH HILARITY BUT HAVE SRS BSNS, OR IT COULD BE ANOTHER EPISODE ENTIRELY (and AU sounds like the season in general so, it totally could be anything really) I JUST AM EXCITED FOR MORE ANGEL ACTION AND ANGEL CIVIL WAR GOODNESS! AND POSSIBLY SOME CASTIEL AND BALTHAZAR SCREENTIME (WITH SOME WHUMPAGE, YEAH? ;D) AND HOPEFULLY SOME GABRIEL. CROSSING FINGERS BECAUSE I WANT OUR GABESTER BACK!!!

I'm also breaking my own rules about spoilers. With Supernatural these days I'd rather see what's gonna happen and whether or not it's worth my time. It didn't used to be the case, since I found the thrill of not knowing anything to keep with the suspense, however these days I'm feeling more frustrated than intrigued. I just don't have the energy anymore, so I'm either reassured or warned about upcoming episodes. Don't worry, still gonna keep things unspoiled for others, I know the drill.

Are you me? I hate being spoiled for most shows, but when it comes to this season of Supernatural I'll read people's episode reviews before I watch the episode to see if it's worth my time.

It just seems like the safest route to take, lately. I just don't have the energy to have my blood boiling in anger or much frustration with the show when I can just simply read what happened instead of sitting and enduring it as I used to.

That's my thought, too. It makes the prospect of the meta episode more fun thinking that this could possibly be the plot twist of things rather than just being a silly-filler episodes just for the heck of things. It'll be funny, but with relevance to the plot. And honestly? I just really wanna know of the priest!Misha thing is definitely part of that meta episode, because dammit I want to see that. ;D

I really, really am trying not to get my hopes up too high for one reason and one reason only. What they did, or more to the point, didn't do with Cas's search for God last season. I really want to see more than an ep or two dealing with this and I don't want a lot of it happening offscreen with passing mentions by the characters of what has been happening. PLEASE BASE UP GAMBLE AND CO. AND DELIVER THE GOODS! You would make a lot of fangirls very, very happy.

I agree with you, I NEED more Cas/Balthazar in my life. And more Raphael. And if they promise not to mess Gabriel up horribly, BRING HIM BACK TOO. Maybe Zach is hanging out in Purgatory, if so he can come back and get his ass handed to him again for chuckles.

Judging from talks about things it seems like they are going to be dealing with it more thoroughly than his mission to find God last season, though I'm still crossing my fingers and praying that they actually follow through with it. I mean, from the way they are describing things it seems far too epic to pass up, particularly since we know Castiel will be featured more heavily in the second half than he was in the first.

It seems like the most simplest way of not being all GRRR ARRRGH RAAAGE with this season. I started doing that by reading people's episode reactions/reviews before an episode aired here, to see whether it was worth my time watching, now I'm all like "well, if I can do that I can just as well look at future spoilers." Heh.

But how did his quarry get to the alternate universe to begin with? Is this the personal move of Raphael? Maybe the hitman is coming after Dean? SO MANY QUESTIONS. Though, really, I kind of hope they don't actually open up the "alternate universe" door (even if it sounds like they are). That sounds completely different than the fake realities Gabriel created. Speaking of Gabriel, I'm still holding out hope that he is responsible for the "TV" episode.

Someone conducted a theory that the hitman was sent after them (Dean, Sam and Balthazar) as part of that personal move Raphael is gonna make on Castiel, and to prevent this from happening Balthazar zapped them into an alternate universe, which seems rather plausible. My thought is still Gabriel as well, though I'm definitely anxiously waiting to see how this works out. I'm not entirely sure how this all fits together, and the possibility the show will retcon itself yet again is definitely high, but I'm just excited about more angels. And hitman angels, gunning for bloodshed. That's all I'm kind of going "wheee!" at.
