This is what happens when you start shitting sparkles.

No matter what's happening, the Twilight fandom never fails to bring the frightening lulz. It's borderlining laughing hysterically at these people to repeatedly headdesking, or hiding by diving behind a couch like one would upon seeing a Dalek in real life. This is one scary fandom, boys and girls, and while I like reading upon the lulz, the fanbrats are equally as terrifying as Meyer's attempt to write fiction that she created out of her own ass. Of course the best place to get your lulz rolling for that fandom is by [livejournal.com profile] cleolinda's recaps of teh batshittery nonsense, and then some.

I don't read nor care about the books, but seriously? This fandom is crazygonuts, like whoa.

While I haven't been watching it I've been reading up on the coverages of the Democratic National Convention. As I mentioned before politics is a real nasty and fickle business which I don't spend too much time over, but to get the highlights of what's happening is all I need. Whether from MSNBC or CNN, but when in doubt there's always The Daily Show which never fails to bring mock-worthiness to such political events. Speaking of which, anyone notice that Stephen at TCR is in serious need to take some time off because he's all stuffy and sick? The poor guy, he's a real trooper for enduring that but seriously Stephen, you should go home to bed and get well.

I have read the first 3 books but I can not understand why people are so invested, they are crack!bad fic they are not good or AAMAAAZZZZINNNGG!

SRSLY. I mean, honestly, if I were to ever read them it would only to see how horribly bad they're written and mock it profusely. But anyone in their right mind wouldn't see this as amazing literature. It doesn't even deserve the title of literature. It's just nonsensical crack!badfic trash. It has no real meaning, and even the author herself said she didn't write for a message just for "the ride". Which, in itself, is WTFery.

The fangirls are just insane, and unfortunately that girl in the video is just a taste of the batshit that happens. *shudders*

hiding by diving behind a couch like one would upon seeing a Dalek in real life

I lol'd so much when I read this.

I attempted to watch some of those videos and I thought that girl was going to come out of my screen ala The Ring.

I haven't watched TDS or TCR for a while. Shame on me.

It makes one wonder though, which is scarier: Twilighters or Daleks? Or we could just sic the Daleks on those insane Twilighters, make the world a saner, better place. Heh.

Oh my, thanks for linking to that great piece of entertainment!!!
disturbing, to say the least...

[identity profile] rogueslayer452.livejournal.com 2008-08-29 12:28 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, inorite? Twilighters are entertianing in a scary kind of way. The one where it's funny from afar and on the sidelines, but up close you just want to run away.

twilight... why arent there normal fandoms anymore? lol!

crazygonuts lol ♥

I know!!! They probably told him he had to stay on this week since it was the convention... luckily its only a four day work week for him and he can have the next three days to recover ^.^

[identity profile] rogueslayer452.livejournal.com 2008-08-29 09:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Normal? The Twilighters think they ARE normal! Which is...completely false, but let's just leave them to their own fantasyworld and we'll stay in our sane one.

I hope so. I was all awww, Stephen! Go home and eat some soup.
