First, I want to thank

bobbinrob again for the virtual gift! It's the first one I've had so it makes me kind of giddy that someone would buy one for little ol' me. ♥

I know people are going crazy with Comic-Con, giving their reports with pictures and videos and such, so just as a reminder if anyone spoils me for Heroes you'll be tossed out an airlock. Other fandoms I've been okay with but this is the main one I'm extremely spoiler-free for, and I've been avoiding anything so far but fandom has a tendency of letting things slip so, make sure that if anyone went or knows information it get it hidden as a common courtesy for those such as myself who want to remain unspoiled. Muchos gracias.

Is anyone else entertained by the Twilight wank and madness that has exploded? It's horrifyingly amusing.

Tonight I picked a random episode of Supernatural to watch, because I've been feeling the withdrawals of it, and decided to watch "Roadkill". I love this episode and not just for Tricia Helfer, but because I feel this is such an underappreciated episode of the second season. It's a classic ghost story, nicely edited and paced with a clever twist in the end. Some had said it was preditable, but heh whatever. I loved it. Besides, Number Six and the Winchesters? You can't beat that. Unless you add Starbuck into the mix, with Six and Starbuck with Sam and Dean, that would be epic television right there.

Ugh, I know. It's even more hilarious because I have never read the books, only exerpts from it. But it's enough to know that ONE PARAGRAPH makes me want to gauge my eyes out. It's so bad. I'm just getting a hoot out of people taking the books so seriously and end up getting into arguments over a crappy book series. XD It makes the HP fandom look relatively sane, only a little bit.

Seriously. And that's saying something, seeing as how the HP fandom is, uh...like Arkham, but without the awesomeness. And without Joker and Scarecrow.

sendhilfans. I admit once I get season two in August one of the first things I will watch is the season three sneak peak. Don't worry, I won't tell you anything about it.

I am greatly amused at the Twilight wank. I found out this weekend that one of my friends from high school is in charge of the Breaking Dawn midnight party at the Barnes and Noble she works at. I feel so sorry for her.

I'm kind of afraid to click on those further screencaps to the sneak peek, but I'm right there with you about the DVDs. Once I'm getting them aside from rewatching all the episodes, with and without commentaries, I'll be watching the sneak peek as well. It doesn't break my code because isn't this the first look that was like months ago or something that people already saw? So it wouldn't be anything new, like with all these spoilery things popping out in fandom.

I'm kind of torn between giggling and facepalming that there's going to be a freaking midnight release anyway. Was there before all this madness happened like, months ago? I hadn't even HEARD of the book series until the movie news appeared, and now suddenly it's EVERYWHERE. My God, it's a plague.

I have no idea whether this sneak peek is something people have already seen. I just know there is some stuff that involve two characters in particular. One of which is Mohinder.

I heard about the books in the beginning of the year before there was any official announcement of the movie let alone Robert being cast as Edward. The poor guy probably thought he was done with the crazies after doing Harry Potter. I hope he comes out of this fine.

Interesting. We'll have to see when the DVDs come out, won't we.

I just never understand the fascination of it, really. I'm sure I've heard of it before but it never struck my interest, and with all this batshittery by fandom it has repelled me more and more. I feel sorry for him too, and the movie hasn't even come out yet, which means he'll have to brace himself next time there's an event. He doesn't want to be going into those Gates of Hell unprepared.

But I will say this, if in the movie the vampires don't dazzle, I'll be disappointed.

I hate the fact we have to wait until August 26. Ugh.

I'm happy Heroes fandom is relatively not as batshit as some of the fandoms I've lurked in the past because I've been more active in this one than my previous ones. It'd make me sad to see this one go insane. Although I really want a Paire vs. Sylaire ship war because I'm an evil bitch like that.

The vampires dazzling is the only reason why I want to see the movie.

I've remained spoiler-free for Heroes too. I duno why I keep myself so spoiler-free for this one when I a spoiler-ho for other fandoms. :/

The Twilight shizz is scary/hilarious. I can't get past the first chapter. Blergh.

I know! I guess since Heroes is like one of my main fandoms that I'm so invested in that I don't want to be spoiled for whatever suspenseful/mystery/epic plot/arc thing might happen. With other shows, like Gossip Girl for example, I have no problems being spoiled for.

Same here. I'm all "what's the big deal?" Seriously, what IS the big deal with those books? It's the same shit we've seen before, except it fails miserably.

It's bittersweet cute, of course I knew something was up because of Dean not hitting on Tricia's character.

I heard that the trailer for Twilight wasn't any good... is it true? I never read any of it, but all of my friends seem to be really into it... I feel like it will only lose out to Dark Knight as the most talked about movie on my f-list this year, lol!

IDK, the books are atrocious and really bad, but the trailer looks better than those which many are thankful for. I doubt it'll be good as in a fantastic movie, but it'll be entertaining. SPARKLING VAMPIRES! (if they have them sparkling, if they don't that beats out the purpose of seeing the movie at all) I doubt it'll be bigger than TDK, because the Batman franchise is so much bigger than Twilight. And a lot cooler and awesomer. I mean plz, BATMAN WINS OVER TWILIGHT.

The main reason why people are talking about it is because it's LOLarious stupid crap. XD
