Just because it's inexplicted doesn't mean it's inexplicable.

01. Whoa, TWoP had a completely layout makeover didn't it? Huh, interesting.

02. I caught an episode of Drake and Josh the other day and, aside from being funny which was shocking to me, but it holds the largest amounts of HoYay! in almost everything the two characters do. I was like, and this is a kids show? There's some pretty mature themes that happens in it too...not that kids will understand the undertones, but it's still there for us gutter-minded individuals. I like the sister too, she's cool.

03. It's starting to get cooler here, and possibly a chance of giving us some rain. Um, yays?

04. The other day I visisted the library for the first time in like forever, since whenever I need books I usually just go the the bookstore and purchase them. I prefer buying instead of borrowing, why I don't know it's just how I roll with that. Anyway, it was strange but in an interesting way. Of course it was a small library, the other one is downtown and is bigger with many floors, so perhaps one of these days I may have to go down there and check things out.

Dude. I love Drake and Josh. For all the reasons you just said.

. . . apparently, I don't watch any "grown-up" shows.

It's just SO funny. Usually with those kinds of shows the jokes I either don't understand or don't find the hilarity in, or it just annoys me. But with Drake and Josh...it's different. I don't what it is, but it's just a ball of laughs.

Besides, now that Psych had its mid-season finale I need to find other shows that'll tickle my funny bone. *g*

Eee!!! HEROES! I'm excited. And seriously, I can't believe I'm this obsessed with a show I only got into this summer... and watched the entire season within a week... or less.

I go there almost every day and it took me totally aback. I always get annoyed when longtime sites change their layouts.

HUZZAH!!!

My initial reaction was "whoa, what the shit? Am I on the right URL page?" It was surprising, and slightly annoying. But I'm just thankful the rest of the site isn't set up all refined like that.

I see your Huzzah and raise you a YATTA! :D

the difference between buying books and borrowing is that you don't have to read them right away. if you borrow a book from the library, you have a deadline to read it by. I like purchasing more myself. :D

Speaking of the whole Drake and Josh and how it's more mature for kids, I've come to notice that youth/teen shows are becoming more mature than when I was a kid. Take for instance the Teen Choice Awards. IMO, that show is intended for teenagers. Well, several of the performers were using their normal obscene lyrics in front of all these kids. Now, how can they do that?! :)

[identity profile] rogueslayer452.livejournal.com 2007-09-23 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
Precisely. I like to take my time with the books I read, and having a deadline will only make it go slower or have me speedread through it without absorbing what I'd just read. Also, there's that whole "not returning what I borrowed" issue that could get me into A LOT of trouble, library or otherwise. Heh.

Actually, I find it quite the opposite. I find children's shows and movies more PC nowadays than when I was growing up.
