My Comments: Revenge was among my favorite shows when it aired, and Emily Thorne, played by Emily van Camp, is absolutely stone cold ruthless in it with her quest for vengeance against those who ruined her family and her life was a well-played strategy. Seeing fanvids for it being made even after all these years later makes me happy, and this fanvid in particular perfectly encapsulates how terrifying she can be when her determination to destroy another person's life is. She is dangerous, threatening, and can be as cruel as she is kind and vulnerable, and how you definitely don't want to get on her bad side. The vidder chose and edited some fantastic scenes from throughout the show, and it reminds me why I fell in love with her character in the first place.

Admittedly I hadn't properly finished the last season myself, but I was very much glued to the first three seasons and Emily is such a powerhouse of a character. Plus her and Nolan's partnership in crime were such a treat and kept me going.

Aw I loved this show. It did get a bit uneven as it went on, but as I recall the end was fairly satisfying. I think my biggest complaint was that they tanked Daniel's character...I thought it made the show more compelling when he was a decent person and there was some genuine chemistry between them, making her more torn and things even more morally grey.

You always remind me of fun fandoms! Someone had the first season of Revenge on DVD that they left for free in a spot outside our building so I picked those up - you have reminded me that a rewatch should happen soon :)
