++ The news that Laura Ling and Euna Lee, the two U.S. journalists arrested in North Korea, were released and have returned home after Kim Jong Il had given them a special pardon has made me sighing in huge relief. Needless to say, this was a pleasant shock to hear. I'm not saying that Kim Jong Il has sanity due to his continuing batshit craziness, but this was something of a rare generosity towards these women when he could have been less than forgiving. I mean, come on, twelve years in a labor camp? That's too much even if they they were illegally crossing the borders. I'm just glad they've arrived home, safe and sound.
++ Battlestar Galactica: The Plan DVD box art. ME WANTS TEH PRECIOUSSSS! Tricia looks absolutely gorgeous on the cover, btw. ♥
++ Know what's funny? There are some people that outright hated "Epitaph One" because they believe it reveals the ending of the show thus claiming why they should continue watching Dollhouse if they've been given the outcome anyway? LOL. Oh silly, naive people, missing the point of the episode entirely. Fans watch for the unraveling of the chain of events which this episode blatantly shows the outcome of, and for the character relationships and how they ended up where they were and so forth. Seriously, get with the program folks. Sometimes I just feel there are those that will complain about anything regarding Dollhouse. Look, if you don't like it or don't trust Joss in what he's doing, then just leave. No point in getting your panties in a twist over a fandom you have no interest in. Just stating the obvious.
But I do feel the need to laugh at this, because I think it's ridiculous. Since yes, all future!episodes in shows dictate what the actual ending is going to be. Let's place all the character development and relationships out the window, shall we! *cackles*
++ GOOD NEWS: FOX execs to leave Dollhouse alone, allowing Joss to do his thing. SHOULDA DONE THAT THE FIRST GO 'ROUND FOX, FOR REAL NOW! SHEESH! Nevertheless though, I'm happy they've come to their sensesfirst time perhaps? because more things are better when FOX doesn't intervene. I'm also VERY VERY pleased with some of the guest-star list for S2, but it's a bit spoilery so I won't say anymore. Other than I'm ecstatically happy. *g*
++ This is simply fantastic, just a small little fanmade teaser-promo, pinpointing why I loved Draco's role in HBP. ♥ Slight spoilers if you're not familiar with what happens. I'm just waiting for the handful of Harry/Draco vids that are going to be conjured up due to the film, because damn if there were many scenes that were edited fit for that purpose alone. ♥ ♥ ♥

Is there anyone on the list beside JB, MH, and AD?

Those are the only ones I know of so far, but I'm still giddy because I was like OMG RLY? YAY! :DDDD

On the other hand, it would also have been read as something of a "series finale" by some because it does give the outcome with just a glimpse of flashbacks to how things ended up. I think this being a stand-alone would have been an awesome way of kind of leading those still skeptical into not only season two but the show overall. So, I don't know. Either way I'm just glad that there is going to be a season two and hopefully with Joss able to conduct things the way he wants it to be, it'll flow more smoothly this go around. :)

BEST. NEWS. EVER.
(Well, that and the news of Six being smoking hot on the Plan cover.)

Six is fierce on that cover, for reals. *_*

Wonderful cover. Except Sam looks like kinda old, but it could be worse.

That and it looks like his gun is photoshopped. lol

Hee. That's what livejournal user Lyssie said. I'm sure he looks better on film (and we get to see him naked in goo!).

People are crazy.
Also, I need Dollhouse iconses.

Exactly! If it's not this future, than something else entirely along the lines of a post-apocalyptic nature. It is inevitable with such technology given to the wrong individuals and abusing its power. There are many possibilities where this could lead, and now we know that the Dollhouse is only a fraction of this bigger picture, and we weren't given a clear picture of all that happened in between. I loved it.
You're right, those people are whacked.
DOLLHOUSE ICONSES, YOU NEEDS THEM PRONTO! ;)

Epitaph One was EPIC. imo, it sets up the ending, but leaves the middle unanswered, making us WANT to continue watching. And well, it might not even be the ending, but a 'what might have been'. Those people? Probably don't want to have their shows all thinky-thoughts-ish. piffle.

People that complain about the show aren't exactly the think-outside-the-box types, I find. And for those thinking the episode gave everything away really weren't paying attention. Which is why I'm laughing at them. XD I LIKES MAH THINKY-META SHOWS, M'KAY.

Or am I the only one who maybe enjoys a book more if I've flipped to the last chapter before I read the first? :D

This. We were given some implications that the higher ups, aka Rossum, were having other plans for the technology rather than the Dollhouse, so this future wasn't exactly a "shocker" by any means. And yes, we knew of the "what" but it's the "how" that is what we're going to be watching for, along with following these characters that we've grown to know and their development (because really, I want to see how Topher ends up the way he does, how all the Actives either return to their normal selves or become more self-aware like Echo has, and so on).
THAT should be what people should be craving to see more of, not this "omg they spoiled the ending? no fair, I guess I'm done with this show now." Because that's just a stupid way of going about watching a show, especially with a show that has interesting character dynamics.

Totally. It's going to be great seeing what exactly happened that led them to the events of Epitaph One and with Joss completely at the helm I'm sure it will be great tv. It sort of reminded me of Lost actually, they did a flash forward of the people already off the island but then continued to show us the events that led them to getting off. It's great tv if written well and I trust that Joss will do a great job.
Also, the list of guest stars and possible guest stars had me squeeing and jumping for joy. Yay!

It truly was a masterpiece episode, and I really liked how it's setting us up for what's to come because damn, I really want to know how everything turns out. I mean, it doesn't give us all the answers in that episode and it left a lot ambiguously open for speculation, like what happened to some of the characters and if these events can be prevented, and so on. There's so much to explain and explore, and I can't wait for season two.
Oh my gosh, I nearly jumped with joy hearing some of the guest stars. It makes me wonder who else Joss is having in mind to make an appearance on Dollhouse.... ;)

Regarding the news that FOX is not going to interfere with Joss... I don't want to sound bitter, but I'll believe it when I see it. I do not trust FOX. Not at all.
Thanks for pointing out the vid. I like that things like this are made, especially considering how Malfoy's role in the story was outshined by the romantic storylines in the movie. One would think that death eaters entering the school was more important than who hooked up with whom.

Precisely, and quite frankly I would have loved if they had the majority of the film surrounding Draco. I wouldn't have minded it if they just called this Draco Malfoy and the Dark Lord's Mission or something. ;) But yeah, Draco definitely was the star of this film, without a doubt. I was more interested with his storyline than with all romancing.
