++ October is finally here. Happy Halloween month!

++ It seems that the second season of Heaven Official's Blessing donghua is really happening! A special premiere screening happened just last night in Singapore, with some other screenings to happen before the official premiere of the season for everyone this month. While it will be available to watch on Crunchyroll, I do hope that Netflix will eventually have it soon just like they did with the first season. But it just makes me really excited that it's actually happening! I do wonder how much was probably changed due to censorship laws becoming stricter in order to get this released, since there is a reason why people were worried that S2 might not even happen, because a lot of things that were scheduled to come out have been delayed, almost indefinitely. Regardless, I'm just pleased it's happening at all. It may be a while before I see it in full when it finally does arrive, but I'll be excited to see others reacting to it live and seeing all the gifsets from it.

++ The final episodes of Doom Patrol's fourth and final season will be premiering on October 12th. I'm excited, but also sad that the show is ending. Doom Patrol was such a delightfully wacky show that I feel never got the full recognition it deserved. If nothing else it made you appreciate the acting talents of its cast, particularly that of Diane Guerrero and Brendon Fraser. And the fourth season managed to get Sendhil Ramamurthy! Like, come on! Either way though, it was a fun ride and I'm curious to see how they wrap things up.

Gah, I keep forgetting to catch up on Doom Patrol. I'm still only on Season 1. I did love Diane Guerrero.

I know!! The first season definitely was. I'm not as familiar with Grant Morrison's run of the comics as I'd like to be; they're weirdly hard to find here. (I still prefer hunting them down to ordering them online.)

I need to catch up on Doom Patrol. I didn't think anything of that show until a friend said I should watch it...and I've been enjoying it. Tho I'm only on season 2!

I love Sendhil Ramamurthy!

It's such a good show, it's just ball-to-the-wall ridiculous, but also has quite a lot of dark moments especially with emotional character arcs and it's so great.

I've loved Sendhil since Heroes, so it was a pleasant surprise that he appeared in this show too. :D

I just binged s4 part1 of Doom Patrol over the weekend because I didn't know it was out and wanted to get ready for part 2 and I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH it's so fucking weird and i love that for me

but also if Larry and Rita don't reconcile I will riot

I don't know anything about Heaven's Official Blessing aside from the fact that I have the first book somewhere in my boxes. I'll get to it eventually, but meanwhile, I'm happy for you that the second season is premiering and you'll hopefully get a chance to watch it soon! Congratulations!

Kudos about Doom Patrol as well! It's another thing I've never heard of, but I'm happy that you're happy.

Spooky season! Halloween isn't big in Germany, but I love that it's all over the internet as soon as October comes around :D
