Humanity's children will remember this....
You know, when I thought about the moral and ethical discussions we would be having about AI, I always thought it would be about actual artificial intelligence, as in the sentience and individual autonomy of robots and machines, not human controlled programs that operate underneath generated algorithms. As I've seen others state, what most are referring to as "AI" is really just "artificial generators". Otherwise, it's just confusing and wildly misleading.

While I'm not nearly as well-versed on the subject and I'm still educating myself on it to form a more well-rounded opinion, especially in most recent developments and how this has kind of sparked a larger conversation in general, this is a sentiment that I feel I share as well. These things are merely tools, which aren't inherently evil by themselves, and what matters is the intentions by others using it. A person using an "AI" generator for their own personal work is different from someone using it to copy and profit off of the work of others without their knowledge or permission.
