++ After seeing the new Captain Marvel first look trailer I'm even more excited for this movie. I love the whole buddy-cop-esque vibe Carol and Fury are going to be having, the amount of sass and banter is going to give me life while watching it. I'm also hoping that this shuts certain people up who previously complained about Carol not having a "personality" because she didn't smile or whatever. Regardless, this entire movie looks like it's going to be incredibly fun and I cannot wait.
++ Anyone remember the Hanna movie from 2011? Did y'all know that there's going to be a television series based off of it on Amazon Prime? I wasn't aware until I saw the teaser for it. I loved the movie (and the soundtrack went hardcore, too), and I always thought that it had potential to expand the story a bit because there were a lot of questions left unanswered and areas unexplored. So in a way it makes sense that it would be getting a television series treatment. Though it would be kinda nice to see how Hanna was after the events of the movie itself, like if Saoirse Ronan would reprise the role as an older!Hanna and seeing how she adjusted to life after everything, seeing how she adapted to the world, what she may be doing if she finds out about something else like what she had been involved in, etc. I know that's not going to happen, but if the series goes beyond the movie I would love to see it go in that direction. I mean, the movie was perfection on its own, but if they're to expand on certain aspects I am curious to see what they do.
++ Grantchester has a trailer for their fourth season, which will be James Norton's last season. I've known that we would be getting a new vicar introduced this season to take his place, and in this trailer we get our first glimpse of that. I still maintain the opinion that the show should start centering around Leonard a bit more, but that's just because he's my favorite character.
++ Brooklyn Nine-Nine is back! NBC has been doing good for B99, not only with it hitting big in the ratings but also with how much they promoted it. From their first ever SDCC appearance to all the promos which featured "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" by Backstreet Boys. NBC has been doing so much marketing for the show that FOX barely did since the show premiered. Bless.
++ And we have the One Day At A Time season three trailer! The fact that we're getting both Stephanie Beatriz and Melissa Fumero guest-starring is just so amazing.

I adored the movie and it's one of my favorites, so I hope that this series will try to do something different with it and have it not be an exact retelling of the movie, that they take the opportunity to expand and explore areas that the movie didn't.

The B99 episode was so good, too! I was very pleased when I saw that it got high ratings. NBC really seems to love the show :D

I'm so happy that they're doing the bleeping! :D I laughed when that happened. Also Holt's shirts! I love B99, and I love that NBC saved it and it's doing its best to promote it.

I'm curious to what the series is going to do with it. Clearly they're going to elaborate more on the big top secret experiment aspect, but I do wonder if it's going to go in another direction from the film.

Hmm I did not know that Hanna was becoming a TV series. Should be... interesting. Though I LOVED Saoirse Ronan as Hanna and yes, that would be amazing if she reprised the role and an older Hanna - what a great idea you have there <3

Yeah, Saoirse Ronan was perfection in that role, that while I'm willing to give the new young actress a chance to see what she brings to the table, it goes without saying that nothing will compare to Saoirse's performance in the film. It was on another level. As great as it is to create a series based off the film, it would've been even better if they did a series that was more of a sequel to the film with her reprising the role. But hey, that's just me. Again, I'm willing to give this series a chance to see what it does, but Hanna will always be Saoirse's greatest roles, imho.

B99 being back is amazing, I'm so happy it got picked up by NBC and that they're doing what the show rightfully deserves in terms of promotion <3

B99 is where it rightfully belongs. NBC is truly showing the love and devotion that it should've gotten from the beginning. I'm just so happy the show is back, and still remains the best comedy to grace our screens.
YES, I'm right there with you. So excited about everything! :D
