Let's go raid some tombs.
++ So, Stitchers has been cancelled, apparently due to low ratings, the lowest on the network it seems. I'm sad, but not surprised. I'll miss Allison Scagliotti as Camille the most since not only did she deliver the best sassy zingers but she also played an openly bisexual character who was unashamed of her sexuality. That was probably the best thing that came out of the third season, to be perfectly honest.
++ Speaking of, there is now a petition going around which has gotten some attention for the DCEU to have Diana be bisexual in the Wonder Woman sequel and future films, since it's been confirmed that she is in the comics. I don't know whether the studios will allow it, but it would be fantastic if Patty Jenkins could at least try to make it happen in the second film.
++ There is finally an official trailer for the new Tomb Raider film starring Alicia Vikander. This will be based on the 2013 game that rebooted the video game franchise, telling the origins of how Lara Croft became the legendary tomb raider we know her as. Being a fan of the entire Tomb Raider franchise I'm really excited for this film. Just watching the behind the scenes alone has me incredibly hyped for what we'll be seeing on the big screen. I love the games, I loved Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft in the previous two films and I know that I'll love Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft in this new film. Just as long as they do right by Lara as a character, I'm all good.

It would be nice if DC would stay true to the characters and who they are; therefore Wonder Woman being bisexual, but alas who knows if they will. I hope they do :)
If they do Lara correctly as a character, that would be AMAZING!

I hope so, too. You never know when it comes to studios, but I do hope that regardless that Patty Jenkins listens to this and at least tries to do something about it for the sequel.

And yet this is another show where a finale leaves us hanging on something bigger that we won't ever get answers to....

Wasn't it heavily implied in the movie that Diana was bisexual? Referencing to Cleo's treatises and all, and the logical conclusion that any past relationship would have to be with other Amazons. It's not an explicit line, but also roughly the same of what we got in Rebirth.

Allison was brilliant as Camille and it's sad that I'll no longer see her as that character anymore, because I loved her a lot, but it's true that we'll be able to see her in more projects.
I think it was only vaguely implied, since unless you read between the lines not everyone will get it. Hell, there's still the ongoing arguments by those who cannot convey the notion that an island full of women means that there might've been romantic relationships between other women. So I think in the movie it was vague enough that people could draw their own conclusions, either that it meant that women didn't need men for pleasure (because they could pleasure themselves) or that they had relationships with other women. But what I think most people want is less of an implication and more of an overt statement or showing that Diana is bisexual.

I'm really looking forward to the new film. I played the 2013 Tomb Raider game (that I still need to finish, lol) and I like that the film is going in that direction of an origin story. I also really liked that we saw a bit of homage to the classic Tomb Raider series/Angelina's Lara with her in the braid at the end of the trailer. I want this film to be good, but I know that regardless I'll love it either way because Lara Croft! Tomb Raider! :D

I've never seen Tomb Raider or played the games, but the trailer looks awesome and I'm definitely going to watch it when it comes out! It's like Indiana Jones, but with a hot girl lol.

That is exactly what it is, yeah! I was introduced to the Tomb Raider games when I was in elementary school (Tomb Raider II specifically), and while I didn't think much of it at the time, looking back it truly was influential to me because it featured a woman as the protagonist which was extremely rare for video games during that time. I've been kind of following the Tomb Raider franchise ever since. :)

I will watch the Tomb Raider movie as well. Liked the Ones with Angelina Jolie a lot. And I watch them everytime when they are on TV. ^^
