Three Shiny Pretties of the Day

+ Potterific Shiny: The WB has graciously released plenty of promotional images from the movie, as well as several more and oh, guess what, several more! Along with a brand new TV spot involving Malfoy turning into a ferret! All sorts of shiny here.

+ Browncoat Shiny: While Flightplan still tops the box office, Serenity comes in close. Definitely shiny! And look at the gorgeous picture of Summer in that article. ♥

+ Whedon!Gaiman Geekerjoy Shiny: TIME interviewed both Joss Whedon and Neil Gaiman...at the same time. Eeee, shiny beyond shinyness!

Yay Serenity. And technically, since it's playing on, like, 1000 less screens than Flight Plan, Serenity is doing better attendance and whatnot wise... but that's just me being totally biased!

And let's not forget the pre-screenings since April, which practically sold out very quickly. I, too, am also biased when it comes to Serenity or anything Jossverse. Only because I so do love Joss, and also because we've done the impossible with this Big Damn Movie. :)

I know. I sort of do a mocking dance at other fandoms that don't have a movie... but then I feel a little mean about it. But still... a movie from a canceled tv show (I still haven't forgiven Fox for that) that ran for half a season? Who would have thought it was possible? And all it has to do is make 80 million world wide in order for them to consider a sequel. Call me nonchalant, but like that's going to be hard to do. Clearly they underestimate the powers of the Browncoats/Joss lovers everywhere.

I completely agree I think all of Joss' work is completely underestimated.... oh I love this movie.

It's sad how people don't realize how spectacular his work is. It's a damn travesty of a sham that he hasn't been nominated for an emmy or golden globe.
