++ I just watched Dollhouse "Epitaph One" and, um, holy fucking shit I think my brain just broke. In a good way, of course. The kind of way you watch something of Joss Whedon and get totally mindfrakked along the way. I can't make a proper review at this moment because I'm still reeling over what I had just seen, but believe me for those that are/have been skeptical about the show before this episode definitely will change your mind. It's confusing and raises more questions than answers, but it gives you the has/was/will be scenario which leads into next season. It's also very awesome and dark and brilliant and, will have you craving for more.

Also, I will say this, Joss needs to write post-apocalyptic stuff more often.

++ THE DRACO AND HARRY/DRACO FANDOM HAS BEEN REVIVED ONCE AGAIN!

I will say that I'm no longer part of the HP fandom, haven't been for a long time now, but due to the Half Blood Prince finally being released after much postponement, I will say it definitely has renewed my love for said characters, especially for Draco, who I have always liked but ended up loving more and more as the series progressed. I also squeed about him in my review, but seriously I'm feeling all the squees around the fandom because of his character in the movie. Hell,

bookshop even has a big motherfucking Harry/Draco revival party going on, filled with fic recs either present or past, fanart, why you love the pairing, and so on.

And also, someone made a

blair_draco community, for Draco Malfoy and Blair Waldorf. DO NOT JUDGE, THEY BE FIERCE BAMFS TOGETHER YOU CAN'T DENY IT!

The Dollhouse episode was good. I approve of it. But a part of me would've wanted more time with the characters. My favourite scene has to be when Adele goes to Topher because he won't take his meds ♥ Poor, poor love.

HARRY/DRACO FTW. I haven't seen it yet (shall tomorrow) and it's made me realize that I miss the pairing (that pairing and Remus/Sirius). Oh, HP... It was a real quality fandom once upon a time. Makes me all nostalgic.

... I could really ship Blair/Draco. *hides* Because they are both that cool.

Those characters seemed really cool, I wished we had more time with them. But it being a future!episode there wasn't much time to really get into all of that, but I really enjoyed the flashback scenes. The chronological order of how everything went down even though we don't get the details of how and why.

That scene with Adelle and Topher broke my heart, seriously. :(

I miss Harry/Draco too, I didn't realize how much I missed it until the movie and seeing their scenes. The HP fandom was quite a fandom, until the batshittery happened which made me leave indefinitely, but I still hold many things close to my heart. Harry/Draco being one of them.

Blair/Draco, the new fierce pairing, y/y? ;D

I was looking through the Harry/Draco nostalgia fest and I stumbled on all these quotes from things and it makes me remember when I was reading HBP and I remember finding this piece of gold:

"Harry, however, had never been less interested in Quidditch; he was rapidly becoming obsessed with Draco Malfoy. Still checking the Marauder’s Map whenever he got a chance, he sometimes made detours to wherever Malfoy happened to be, but had not yet detected him doing anything out of the ordinary."

Oh... the memories.

Blair/Draco is definitely fierce, but nostalgia says that HD will always be the fiercest, to me anyway :) A part of me wished I got into another Draco-pairing but I never really did.

AWWWWWW OMG! They were my ship for like, months? But god so much FUN! Now I want to watch the movie. ♥

The movie was great, but I loved it because of Draco and Harry/Draco moments. Obviously. ;D I totally had forgotten how much I loved this pairing until seeing this film, reliving all the great memories with them and just, yeah.

Loved Dollhouse. My brain still feels a little fuzzy on some of the plot, but my gut just feels like it's been punched a lot. I can't wait to read your review!

Also, this episode made me happy the show was renewed for the first time. Not because of how great it was... but because I hate to think of this as the series finale, I hate to think it ended that way for them. It actually hurt. WHISKEY. :(

I know what you mean, as this was supposed to have been the original finale it really gives a dystopian feeling of the "what could happen" in the future if they cannot prevent the technology for going into the wrong hands or altering it in some way. It raises a lot of questions and it makes me happy that we're going to be getting a second season to really explore that.

that dollhouse ep was all kinds of wow and ouch and just so very Joss. I wish they had aired it, it was so well done. Joss is so very good at what he does. I felt so so sad for Whiskey waiting all alone :(

It was very Joss, ITA. Which is why I loved it so much and why I can't wait for season two.

Poor Whiskey, she just can never leave the Dollhouse, ever. :(

It's the thirteenth episode, was supposed to have been the S1 finale but they didn't air it. It will be on the DVDs but the episode has been leaked already (and will be shown at Comic Con). Just, holy hell, it is amazing. I mean, really frakking awesome.

Wasn't it just amazing?! It's a pity they didn't air it, but I think this would be the perfect episode to get many others hooked into the second season, don'tcha think?

The only thing I know about season two is that it will feature Echo acknowledging her own self-awareness, as she was in the finale, and possibly trying to find out the truth about the Dollhouse like Paul. I think this episode was more of a stand-alone, a forewarning, giving us bits and pieces of what season two will be exploring and whether all that might happen is prevented. Does that make sense?

The show just gets better and better, trust me. :)

Yeah, I dismissed the HP fandom too. Partially it was because of all the crazy wank that occurred, I found it hard to really enjoy the series when someone was bitching about something all the time. But mainly I kinda lost interest in it and moved onto other things. But HBP has refreshed why I loved the series as I had, particularly Draco.

Hee! I just love crack!pairings, and Blair/Draco is my newest little one because they have compatible qualities. Plus, they are amazingly awesome and together? They could rule the world! XD

It wouldn't necessarily be acceptable/attractive to see a women with armpit hair on television though, even if she supposedly hadn't showered in over a year. I also thought her hair seemed pretty clean considering. Unrealistic, but there you go.

I was very impressed with how well she did in the episode, from handling guns to becoming Caroline. She was good.
