Let's play this lovegame, bb.

++ Dollhouse pretty much rocked last night, and the preview for next week seems to look incredible as well. I'll write up my thoughts momentarily, though it still seems like an empty Friday because no more Battlestar Galactica. Though I think the finale pretty much gave a lot of people to talk about for weeks on end which, by the way, very interesting reactions I've been seeing. I have my own though because BSG has wrapped up I can take my time with getting it all written. I'm worried about TSCC though, and whether these last two episodes are going to be for the season or the entire series due to ratings and whatnot. We'll see.

++ I saw the Where The Wild Things Are trailer and, my goodness it looks adorable. It's my childhood and yeah these days you can't trust the movie industry to make a faithful adaptation, but the look and feel of this seems right, y'know? Also, I have no idea if they used CGI or just costumes, perhaps both, either way it looks fantastic.

++ Eliza Dushku and Summer Glau being adorable together. ♥

++ Anyone remember that movie Gossip with James Marsden? Yeah so it had been available OnDemand and watching it I totes didn't realize it had Sarah Connor (Lena Headey) and Papa Adama (Edward James Olmos) in it as well! I remember going to see this movie way back when because it had Christopher Ralph, known to have been Tobias on the television adaptation of Animorphs, and I didn't necessarily understand it at the time. Watching it now I realize it's one of those movies where the concept was great but how it was executed you have to rewatch it several times in order to fully understand what was happening. It's a gorgeously shot film, though.

I know! It actually looks something worthwhile to see (and I say this because I adored the book growing up too, and I'm glad that they made it realistic looking rather than just crappy CGI; it nearly resembles old-fashioned muppet-like creations with the costuming!)
