I don't really go see movies in theaters anymore these days unless it is something I really, really, really want to see on the big screen.
It just seems like reboots are happening earlier and earlier with no thought behind it aside from a cheap cash grab. Imagine having a new movie come out and did well, and then some years later someone wanting to reboot it entirely just to ride off its success. It's ridiculous, and unfortunately it's become the standard now in the entertainment industry. :/ Saw is an iconic franchise that has more room to expand upon its already existing universe than a complete reboot, which, if it ever gets made, will ultimately fail for not understanding what made it successful in the first place. Which seems to be the biggest fault many reboots/remakes have, imho.
