And now for some sads.

++ Lost Girl will end after its upcoming fifth season. This is bittersweet news, because while S4 was a complete shitfest I still cannot deny having loved the show and its run, and it'll be sad to see it go. But at the same time, it's understandable, and from the way things have been going I definitely feel like it's time. At least they're concluding the story on their terms. Although I'm curious, since they announced they were getting a new showrunner, if there was something that prompted this decision or was it just timing? Regardless, I'm hoping S5 learns from S4's mistakes and that the series has a satisfactory ending.

++ Longmire has been canceled, although they are shopping the show around to see who will might pick it up. Now I'll confess that I've been like wayyyyy behind on my Longmire watching, but hearing this news is kind of sad. I don't know if it'll have much chance, but I hope they find a home elsewhere, if only to just conclude the story proper on their terms since I heard they recently ended on a cliffhanger.

Yeah, it's definitely bittersweet. Lost Girl S4 was incredibly disappointing save for maybe one or two episodes, but it's also been such an important show to me in the long run. I'm just hoping that they shape it up for the finale run.

Also I'm still holding out hope that Kenzi and Hale come back but I don't know if I have that much confidence in the writers.

Pretty much the same sentiments. I've loved this show, and even though it's had its disappointments I'll be sad to see it go. But you figure, there has to be the right time for something to end. I'd rather Lost Girl end on a good note rather than drag it along for many seasons like other shows do. But as I said, I hope that they've learned from the mistakes S4 made and give the show an excellent sendoff.

Also I'm still holding out hope that Kenzi and Hale come back but I don't know if I have that much confidence in the writers.

I'm pretty positive that the entire season is going to be focused on getting Kenzi back. Hale, not so much. :/
