And now for some sads.

++ Lost Girl will end after its upcoming fifth season. This is bittersweet news, because while S4 was a complete shitfest I still cannot deny having loved the show and its run, and it'll be sad to see it go. But at the same time, it's understandable, and from the way things have been going I definitely feel like it's time. At least they're concluding the story on their terms. Although I'm curious, since they announced they were getting a new showrunner, if there was something that prompted this decision or was it just timing? Regardless, I'm hoping S5 learns from S4's mistakes and that the series has a satisfactory ending.

++ Longmire has been canceled, although they are shopping the show around to see who will might pick it up. Now I'll confess that I've been like wayyyyy behind on my Longmire watching, but hearing this news is kind of sad. I don't know if it'll have much chance, but I hope they find a home elsewhere, if only to just conclude the story proper on their terms since I heard they recently ended on a cliffhanger.

I'm surprisingly more sad about the news for LG than I'd have expected myself to be, since it ranks as an alright show for me. I don't know if s4's mess was because they didn't have a good idea from how to progress from s3 (which is so strange given how much steam s3 had built up) but still, what a bummer.

It's not a perfect show, and last season was definitely my least favorite of them all, but damn if it hasn't been entertaining and something good for me to watch. I've been invested with these characters for a good while that to see them conclude the story next season is kind of sad. :/
