Re: look at my junk.

Hee, we're just theology geeks in that sense, huh? ;) Anything involving the angels we're there.

I also have several books that are about studying Revelations in the Bible too, even one of the Bible commentary editions, because I was very interested in understanding the connections and meta of the material (the passages about the 7 Seals and the angels sounding their trumpets really set forth into my prediction that the angels were wanting the Apocalypse to happen long before the S4 finale happened) So yeah....when I said geeking out? I really meant it. lol

I think it was mentioned that all Mary's friends were dead, but I don't remember at all if it was the case with her relatives too.. uh, need to rewatch some episodes soon.

Yeah, I think Sam said something along the lines that all of them were dead, all her friends and their uncle, which leads me to believe relatives too. Anyone who has ever known her or had a connection with Mary Winchester had died. Of course that was never really explained either since the third seson, so it makes me wonder if they're rehashing all of that now or completely retconning it.

Even when Lazarus Rising had lots of stuff happening in a short time, the confusion it brought up was the good kind, I was intrigued and at the edge of my seat- we just knew that we were dealing with something that we hadn't ever seen before in the show.

Exactly, and that's the way to handle doing something new or going in a new direction for the show. That's not what this premiere did at all. It's not "oh just give it a chance" like some people are saying with us complaining about it because it's not that simple. It just didn't grab anyone's attention or intrigue, which is what it's supposed to have done if they wanted to sell this idea for a sixth season which I've been apprehensive about for the longest time.
