I couldn't agree more. I was actually a little surprised that it took so long for them to introduce angels, since there's been demons since day one.
I don't know why it took them this long either, but either way I'm glad they did. In fact I remember after the fourth season premiere of Castiel being revealed as an angel and seeing his wings, I was so pleasantly surprised that that was the direction the show was going. And I was excited. And when the episode went to black I was ecstatic because, omgomgomg angels! Heaven! They have a plan for Dean! Shit just got real! :DDDDD I was literally incoherent with giddiness, which I don't think I've ever reacted that way to this show before to be honest with you. Heh.
I mean, it just makes sense they would introduce it at some point. Better now then never, I say, and I think it was the perfect time to really set it all up the way they structured it in S4.
Nothing about the Campbells makes much sense to me. (I still think I would have liked the first two episodes better without them, or at least without the cousins- I just don't like them. At all.)
They're so random. Like, I would have liked them had they been introduced properly instead of just saying "oh yeah btw these are your cousins and now let's move on..." because that? Was weak. If you want me to be invested in whatever they're going to be dealing with do it with something exciting. Then again, Sera Gamble wrote the premiere, so it's not like she would have done their justice anyway. Unless there is something really compelling in store for the Campbells, I'm not really interested.
Let's pray for a Heaven-centric episode. It would be fantastic. ♥
*holds prayer circle for this* It needs to happen. It really does.
