I desperately hoped it was just a trick death, and then I desperately hoped that God would bring him back. But I just read a FB message from Richard thanking fans for liking his character so much, etc. And yeah, even if he was coming back, he couldn't say anything because that would ruin the surprise, but it sort of really hit it home for me.
