Or maybe this was Gabriel's way of staying out of the fight forever. Show up, get fake killed, then take an extended vacation to all points nowhere. Like to Jupiter or Pandora.

I wish he would come back. I'd like to have hope that we'll see him again, that it would be random and awesome. But I know he's supposed to be dead. I know he is dead. And I should stop hoping he'll show up because I know he's not going to. He's not an important enough character to get resurrected.

But I liked the idea of him being out there, even if the other angels are gone at the end of this season. He could have stayed on Earth as the Trickster. Even if we never saw him again, you know?
