Yes. I've read some sub!Cas fics that worked because he was clearly still BAMF and just subbing in bed. Still, I love in control Cas so much. It is a bit wierd that I like them this way because I relate a lot to Dean and tend to like to take charge more. It just works for them, though. Cas is such a powerful, controlling force. Dean forgets that sometimes, but that's really what he needs in his life.

Personally, I think Dean's always wanted that sort of force in his life. Growing up he had his father, who he looked up to. However, his father let him down, and Dean had to be the adult and raise Sam. Then, in hell, he had Alistair. His relationship with Alistair was all kinds of twisted and wrong, but I think that sense of having a controlling influence in his life was one reason he eventually gave in and why he made such a good protege. Now, though, he has Cas. I think once he realizes that Cas won't let him down like everyone else has, he'll get it through his thick skull that he isn't alone anymore.
