I understand the uncomfortableness regarding the rape scene, though it raised a lot of interesting points in the debate on what was considered rape and what isn't in terms of a virtual world, even though we all know it's a no-brainer about the psychological affects to the victim. I think it presents an interesting viewpoint for the audience to really take a look at the subject matter.
Not all the men thought it wasn't a big deal, though. I got that at least some of them either weren't saying anything while Jimmy and the other dude were talking about how they were all overreacting over the situation.
I definitely think that Pike will remain with us via the module, kinda like how Zoe-A will be around in the Caprica series. Because I have a feeling he knew something that the others didn't and it was vital to the mystery of what's behind hacking their systems.
For me, once the episode started picking up I enjoyed it more than how it started out, because I need such conflicts in my shows and once getting into the heavy material like discussions over morality of virtuality versus reality and so forth, I was getting intrigued. It does need some more background and work in getting information to us about their mission and what is happening, but seeing as this was the pilot I'm going to wait and see what else is given to us (if they allow more episodes to happen, that is).
