seeing Victor and Sierra and November was very interesting, even though they had no previous memories it was who they were, personality-wise. Yep. I love both Victor and Sierra crazy amounts so it was great seeing what their actual personalities are like. (And, of course, their attraction.) And it was great to finally get a bit more about November, instead of just her imprint.
Victor wanted to help Sierra in any possible way he could... I find that instinctive need to protect Sierra incredibly sweet and it really is something inside of him that probably will never go away Guh, seriously, I LOVE THEM SO MUCH.
I have nothing more to add to your "The Dollhouse: Nothing is what it appears to be..." section besides that you are right and that I love our complex show. ♥
Mmmmmm... yes. Paul/Echo sexing it up was hot. I've liked the idea of them since the pilot (although now I'm all Victor/Sierra... and a little bit Adelle DeWitt/Laurence Dominic so I've been seriously neglecting my original Paul/Echo ship). But, yeah, anything happening between them would be beyond creepy if it was now. Even as dream sequence it was pretty dark since he knows she is a Doll. Oh, Paul.
VICTOR! Seriously. Those three lines you mentioned were my favorites from the episode. Ugh, so much love.
++ Also, Victor/Sierra? *draws hearts around them* Seconded. So very very seconded.
++ Speaking of, poor Sierra. The girl cannot catch a break can she? She was violated in her previous life... and then she was violated again while within the Dollhouse, by her own freaking handler no less. I know! She is like the poor, ultimate victim. The suffering of her back story is bordering classic melodrama. After all this pain, she deserves the best possible future.
I am loving Adelle DeWitt more and more, I can't help it. Me too!
++ I loved the confrontation with Echo and Topher and Adelle. Holy crap, yes. That was amazing. I have to admit, I especially loved seeing Echo make Topher squirm when confronting him about his work. As much as I like Topher, and I do really like Topher, he needed to be shown from that point of view what he is doing. Even though he'll just brush it aside later and try to ignore it all, he still needed that moment. And Echo needed to give it to him.
Her as herself meeting him because they have the same ideals, and Paul and Caroline working side by side with Alpha in the mix? How awesome would that be? Ridiculously, unspeakably awesome. Or was that a rhetorical question?
++ Next Episode: Who you y'all think is the mole? I predict that it's Claire, mainly because she's the most likely candidate based on her feelings towards the Dollhouse in general, and that she could be the one sending Paul those messages through Echo -- I mean, how convenient of her to have his file in her office and leave it accessible for Echo to find it during this experimental phase? Srsly. I'm voting Adelle. Mostly just because I read a fic like that and really liked the idea. ;P Plus she has all the power in the building so wouldn't have to worry about being caught or working around the security. And she would have access to everything. AND she has a weird connection with Echo. It'd be a cool twist.
I'm trying not to get my hopes up for another season of Dollhouse since I'd be crushed if they canceled it. But it would be so kickass if we got more. This show is SO good already!
