While I see the central idea of the show being the journey of the brothers together, I definitely expect next season to be slightly more about Sam than Dean. It is only fair, as this season was more Dean centric. This year was mostly focused around Dean as he tried to solve Sam's issue of what was happening the psychic abilities, while morning his father and questioning his existence after surviving the experience that should have killed him. Next season should be focused around Sam as he tries to save Dean from being sent to Hell (and he may need to understand more about his psychic abilities in order to do this), while trying to process the new and secret information about his mother and dealing with that fact that he is back from the dead.
If next season isn't more focused on Sam than this season had been, I'll be a little upset. There is still so much more explore! This season had so much Dean. And, don't get me wrong, I loved every second of it. But I definitely think it was more Dean heavy than Sam and I just want to see some of the same attention paid to Sam next year. *crosses fingers for the future*
Bobby is the man. I love him so much. And that scene with Dean will forever be amazing in my mind. He BETTER be around next season or else I'll cry.
